Good Product - Recommended to buy
The Carlinkit is nice product, hassle free connectivity without cable. One problem not from the carlinkit but from google. Android disconnected, and giving lot of notification when connected to VPN.

Worthless. Stopped working entirely after 3 months. Buy another brand.
Edit: stopped working entirely within months. Unreliable and not worth your money. Buy something else. It works absolutely flawlessly about 60% of the time. The rest of the time it just sits there and does nothing, won't connect. If I take the cable and plug in my phone, Android Auto starts up instantly, so it's clearly the box and not the car misbehaving. For a thing which is not some cheap gadget, I would expect better.I've tried changing the settings and updating the firmware, but it's so fiddly and time consuming to do, and didn't even help. Wasn't able to update the firmware at all, it just said to "turn wifi off and try on mobile data", despite me being on mobile data and wifi being off. So that's useless.
