Russian Makarov Pistol leather belt Holster (also known as a PM Pistolet Makarova) of top Soviet Quality. It's a genuine premium thick leather holster (for wearing on the belt) with a single outer mag compartment. New, have never been used. Might have slight traces of time and warehouse storage. A holster has a more or less visible OTK stamp on the inner side of the flap (Quality Control Department and Date stamp). The stamp may be different from holster to holster (produced on different Soviet tanner's factories)

Nice holster
Un-issued Soviet Era surplus , good quality and price, fits my bersa thunder like a glove.

Original product made in the USSR/Warsaw Block
Was surprised with quality of the leather product made in the 70's and 80's (mine made in 1982). A little bit stiff and slight mold on it, but with a neutral shoe cream it goes away. Fits Bersa Thunder 220 and probably 380 great. Very compact and cute, provides full protection to the gun. Can be used in concealed and carry situations. I thank the seller for a great discount on the product as well at the time of purchase.

If this is what you're looking for, this is it...
I don't remember what happened to the original holster I had for my Russian 9mm Makarov...must have vanished over the past 20+ years. When I came across these on Amazon...it was too easy to buy (Amazon)...and affordable...so I went for it. I'm glad I did. I now have the classic holster again.Mine (from seller NikkiSavage) came in absolutely MINT condition, stamped 1987, unused. I rubbed it down with some leather conditioner to soften it up, and parked my Makarov in there, along with the spare magazine. If you're looking for some sort of tactical/concealment holster, these probably aren't what you want. (My Makarov has been in a nylon tactical holster for most of it's life.) These are the genuine issue leather flap holsters. They fit like a leather glove, unlike aftermarket stuff, and are just really cool.Just ordered a new/old stock cleaning/stripping tool, that fits onto this holster (again...lost my original), shipped for less than five bucks off eBay. It is held in the two leather loops on the front edge of this holster, in case you've never had one. I'm really happy to have the kit together again. Shipping from NikkiSavage was super fast, even though it wasn't a Prime item.

Real Russian Surplus, Great
Received mine and like others the leather is a bit dry and stiff. With some TLC It'll loosen up and become really lovely. Mine does appear to have actually been slightly used but that's not a problem. I'm very happy and it'll be a good home for my 380.

Most any Makarov should fit
Bought a '64 E. German Makarov. Found no holsters until in Bulgaria. Ordered. Then later found this one on Amazon (search factors make a difference!), ordered it when Bulgarian didn't appear as scheduled. Later received Bulgarian. Bulgarian is darker brown, this Russian one lighter, both made in the 1980s. Both snug, only a $5 difference in price. Not easy to draw pistol from either (self-defense issue), but good protection to gun which I wanted. Will saddle soap both to soften the leather.

A Great Soviet Makarov Holster
The holster I got was exactly like the one pictured in the listing. It is Soviet, not Bulgarian and is dated 1972. The condition is so near to new that I can't say for certain that is not new. It does have a few light scuffs which could easily be due to storage. The leather condition was also pretty good, just a bit dry. I have massaged a couple of coats of saddle soap into the outer surfaces which softened it and gave it a nice shine. The holster is very well made and has a great leather aroma. This sort of holster is very good for protecting the pistol from the elements. It has a pull strap to aid removing the pistol quickly but it is not made for rapid draw or concealed carry. It would be great for hiking.I ordered a second one of these and it arrived in even nicer condition than the first. I tried a recently purchased Bersa Firstorm 380 into the holster and found it fit like it was designed for it - perfect!

Not an original.
Good fit. However, Hard to remove pistol from holster. I have 2 with one original holster. This holster has to be Chinese. It is not an original. So, It protects your pistol from the elements but very difficult to draw.
