UGREEN Video Capture Card HDMI to USB C 1080P 60FPS Capture

I’m using this with a modded Nintendo Switch dock setup, and it shows up instantly as a standard webcam + microphone device with zero configuration needed. OBS detects it immediately, and it runs a clean 1080p at 60fps with no stutter, audio desync, or random dropouts. Latency is low enough for real‑time monitoring, and the image quality is noticeably better than cheap generic USB capture cards or sysDVR output (which is limited to 720p). It’s also very stable — no disconnects, no driver issues, and no colour shifts. The short USB cable is a surprisingly big advantage too. Generic capture cards plug directly into the port and can be awkward or block nearby connectors, but this one sits neatly on the cable and is much easier to position. If you want a simple, reliable USB capture solution for consoles or handhelds, this does exactly what it claims. Excellent value and genuinely plug‑and‑play. The attached screenshot shows the actual 1080p60 output from my Switch — sharp, stable, and exactly as advertised.

Wish I had this sooner. Works straight out the box and made the video capture quality immediately better. The USB-A and C functionality is really useful. For the price I really can't complain. Absolutely recommended

Used to rescue a sentimental recording (daughter’s birthday card on CBeebies) from my old Virgin Media TiVo box (which also required a SCART to HDMI cable as the TiVo’s HDMI is apparently copy-protected) and it worked as expected, so I cannot comment on how well this works for streaming or capturing video games. The quality is better than my previous solution of simply recording the TV playing the original recording with my mobile or using phone and using it was much faster/easier than digging my old DVD-R out of the loft. The device doesn’t come with any software but the included instructions, which consist of microscopic text recommend OBS Studio on Windows 11, which I found reasonably intuitive to use. The device did get surprisingly hot during the very short time I used it, so I would worry that using it for anything too demanding might cause it to overheat.

Bought this for some analogue video archiving (used in conjunction with an additional ADC box) without having to put up with some dodgy ancient software supplied on an optical disc. Works great for this, and handy to have around going forward. Fair asking price and well made. OBS sees it as a 1080p 60 Hz source, so as advertised.

Really really good for putting my switch on my PC to play Tomodachi Life, colours are great and vivid and no weird green / purple hue. A bit of a lag but that’s to be expected with something like this. Thank you great price and easy to use.

Doesn't support HDCP content, which isn't told to you up front. Tried to use with my fire stick and had to google to find out because it doesn't make it clear or say anywhere in the packaging instructions.

Although the card can capture 1080p, the image quality on Linux can be hit or miss. I purchased this for a video a while ago for bios settings but it appears that the UEFI doesn't duplicate the screen to show the settings, though it has been good use. Overall, a cheap and good capture card.

Funciona para Switch 2. Buen funcionamiento, se calienta pero no en exceso, cumple con lo establecido. Pero, a tener en cuenta: Al estar conectada genera una leve estática sobre sí misma. No da 60 FPS en Streamlabs ni en OBS sino 30, pero sí en reproductores como PotPlayer, la solución es streamear la ventana del reproductor. El cable es corto como se ve en la foto ilustrativa, hay que tener en cuenta la longitud del HDMI. Es pesada al menos para un puerto de un gabinete, es importante tenerlo en cuenta para no dejarla colgada.
