There is not much to dislike about this sandal. First the pros: It is cute, comfortable, well made, and it stays on your foot. The fit is as I expected it to be. It does run a bit wider than some medium widths; however, I consider that a plus because I do not have to leave my sandals all alone in a darkened closet when my feet swell. I just adjust the straps, and I'm ready to go! The arch support is a really good one which is heavenly for me. The insole is nice and cushy and is slightly sueded to keep the foot from sliding forward. The straps are leather lined and do a splendid job of keeping the foot in place. I have this sandal in the pewter easy and the cognac. The pewter easy has a subtle sheen to it, but it is a very versatile color. The stitching around the insole is silver, and the insole is light grey. The stitching around the cognac insole is a metallic gold (very subtle) and the insole is light beige.Now the cons: The ends of the straps do stick out a bit when I have them tightly adjusted because they are a little long when my feet are skinny; however, when my feet are fat, those straps really fall into place and stay flat. This shoe might not be suitable for those wearers who need a narrow width; however, it should work for medium width just fine. I have worn both pairs of my sandals quite often, and I have found the straps have stretched.....a bit more than I would like. They still deserve the 5 star rating in my opinion, but the stretching has allowed my feet to slip forward on occasion. Yes, the insole does cause a noticeable squeak at times. Ladies,It is so easy to do away with that annoying sound. Remove the insoles. Put some foot powder, baby powder or even corn starch in the shoe. Shake it a bit so it is evenly distributed in the shoe. Make sure the powder covers the sides of shoe where the insole fits snugly. Put the insole back in, and then you can sneak upon most anyone because the squeak is gone!

Purchased these for my Mom, who always wore Birkies in the past. Could not find any 'girlie' styles in the Birkenstock brand in her size. I decided on these Alegrias, Karmen style in the Prime Time Rave. They had good reviews. The price was wonderful! They were packaged BEAUTIFULLY! In all the Alegria paper and little shoe tags, with that great leather smell. :) Mom was thrilled! She said they are MORE comfortable than her Birkenstocks and so pretty. I ordered them in size 37 since that is the size she wears in Birkenstocks. They were perfect. She is usually a size 7 in US size.

I have had terrible foot pain (plantar fasciitis) for many months and have spent hundreds of dollars on shoes, desperately trying to find something that doesn't make me cringe in pain. A friend, who also wears 9 1/2 shoe, has a pair of ALEGRIA MOLLY style sandals in European size 39, and she suggested I try them on. The relief was immediate; I could not believe it.I had never even heard of ALEGRIA shoes, but I found the MOLLY sandals on Amazon for 40% less than at the store and bought two pair. They have a sturdy, comfortable, supportive foot bed, and the adjustable strap has been a god-send. Searching Amazon for other ALEGRIA styles, I found the KARMEN sandal and ordered a size 39, but when they came, I was surprised that the 39 was a bit too small, since the MOLLY style in size 39 fit perfectly. No problem, though; since I bought them on Amazon PRIME, I returned them and ordered a 40. When they arrived, I was happy to find the size 40s fit GREAT.The KARMEN sandals are beautifully made; they look great and both straps are adjustable so you can make them fit your feet comfortably. I have only worn them a few times, but it is nice to know that I can buy a replacement insole for $20 when I wear these out. I am sure I will buy this style again! They are well-worth the money.

True to size, comfortable and nice looking. What more can you ask?

I am an Alegria fan. Thank you Amazon for suggesting them to me when I was looking for something comfortable for work! At work I wear a totally enclosed shoe and am on my feet for 10 hours. The foot bed in them is wonderful! The foot bed in this pair is just the same as other Alegria shoes. I got these because I was looking for a fun sort of casual/dressy sandal that was also comfortable. This is it! Velcro on both straps makes them infinitely adjustable. I've worn them a couple of times now and love the feel, they stay on the foot pretty well, too. These are nice enough that I can even get away with wearing them to work when I am doing front office stuff.

I first bought these shoes in blue rainbow, and came back for the white. The blue rainbow is very subtle and beautiful, and I live in white sandals here in Florida during the summer. I found these to be uncomfortable after a few hours. The strap nearest my toes rubs, and although I like the fact that both straps can be adjusted, the bottom part of the strap that ends midway across is the part that rubs. If I use Band-Aid Friction Block on that part of my foot, it solves the problem. However, these will not be the shoes I wear for sightseeing or days at Disney. But for everyday running around town, they're great.For comparison, I used to wear Clarks, but their quality has gone downhill with cheap looking leather and plasticky footbeds that make my feet sweat even in sandals. The Alegria shoes have the suede-like footbeds that I prefer. I wore a 9.5 in Clarks and ordered a 40 in the Alegria and the fit is perfect. I have a medium width foot and narrow heels.
