It is not. It is a nice discreet scarf, nice understated design, and not too big, the right size for me, but softer than cashmere, sorry, but it is not.That seemingly insignificant lie cost you one star.

The colours are wonderful and vibrant for a cold winter's day. The scarf is soft but not quite so soft as I had hoped. I am hoping that it does not make my neck feel itchy or scratchy, only time will tell. However, if you were to ware this under a collar of coat or jacket it would be brilliant to jazz up your outfit. This item arrived with the time stated.

So thin nice colour but not impressed by the quality of the garment but saying that definitely kept my neck warm on a 7 mile walk so first impressions are not always correct thinking on. any thicker and I would probably have been uncomfortable on a long walk with a thicker scarf and it was minus 3 when I was out so I’m convinced this is a good buy

Feels nice and keeps me warm in 20 degree air. Cheaper than walmart wanted for crappy short scarfs meant only for women.
