Another excellent Osprey book on the Roman army. This focusses on the western army units of the the later Roman Empire. The informative yet brief text is very well enhanced by photographic evidence, Colour plates and line drawings and even contains an extract from the Notitia Dignitatum which gives information of the placing the western Roman army units their respective provinces. I even purchased a kingle version of this book in addition to the paperback in order to have a copy to hand on my phone for reference. Very highly recommended.
