Takes the sting out of Winter -Spring pruning. This is a great tool. Cuts thick branches like butter. Saves your hands and arms. It does feel a bit heavy after an hour or so. I use the smallest DeWalt battery with it and I haven't run out of juice yet.

Recommended by a friend, one of us didn't think we needed a power pruner. It was prchased knowing it could be returned if in fact we didn't like it. However, on the first day's use (about a half hour in the yard edges and garden trees) it was apparent that this was destined to be one of our favorite yard tools! Absolutely better that manual pruners as there is pleanty of power and less effort so, longer pruning sessions. There is an ingenious safety triggering system but it's not for fast, careless use. I imagine that someone, somewhere, will find that it cuts fingers clean off so, mind the tool as you should. I would recommend this power pruner for the serious grounds keeper. And, get a second battery for all day pruning.

This trimmer makes trimming trees and shrubbery tremendously easier. One arm and hand for reaching the target, the other arm and hand for holding on to something solid for safety. I can reach into trees and shrubbery with one hand and in dense areas, and make the needed cuts. A pull of the trigger in the tight spot does the trick. Same for reaching high above. After using a chain saw, one can cut up large branches into small pieces for easy piece disposable. The trimmer can cut through branches up to two inches thick. Two, three, or four pulls of the trigger gets through the piece. There is no stress on the tool as it is engineered to drive the cutting blade to a stop without stressing the tool. Just release the trigger for multiple cutting steps on the cut. Battery life with a large capacity battery is hours and the tool never gets hot. Excellent design and engineering.

The media could not be loaded. Best garden tool I've ever bought. This pruner cuts through branches so easily. I was worried it would be heavy with the added battery weight - but it's not!! I was also worried it would cut so fast, I'd be losing fingers - but again I was happy that the speed was slower than expected - see video. The battery charge lasts a long time too! I've done more trimming in the last week that I have in years. I'm F 71 and pretty active, but with wrist pain I couldn't keep up using my manual trimmers. I only wish I had more arms so I could be clipping left and right at the same time! You will love this tool!
