Tastes really nice
I haven’t drunk coffee in over 3 years and I have been trying different alternatives. I’ve never tried chicory before. But it’s really nice. I can’t compare this to others but this is so smooth earthy taste easy to brew with a cafeteria. I really like it.

Nice coffee substitute, shame about the smell
I bought this coffee substitute as I have bad LPR (silent reflux) and GERD and can’t tolerate normal coffee.I do find this makes me have some reflux too unfortunately, but not as bad and I really do like the taste. The only thing I find off-putting is that it has a really strong smell of fake tan! I know that can’t be helped if that’s clearly just the smell of roasted chicory, but for me it’s a quite a big thing, as I’m sensitive to smells. I did try another brand before that had date and barley too and didn’t seem to smell like this.I also find I don’t need to use as much as it says on the packet. For one mug of Noffee I use 1/2 to 3/4 of a teaspoon of granules and that seems to work quite well with a splash of oat milk. I tried one teaspoon originally and it was too strong for me.

Good taste! Not coffee but a near thing.
I was very sceptical about this product, thinking it would taste better and of chicory, like the old, cheap coffee my grandmother used to drink. However, I was very pleasantly surprised - it's great! It's expensive, but you only need a teaspoonful, just like instant coffee, and as I use a filtre coffee machine anyway, it's not extra bother. I'm drinking because of the apparent benefits of chicory root as a prebiotic (but I'm not sure if the processing removes this benefit or by how much) and because coffee, both caffeinated and decaffeinated, aren't 'bladder-friendly'. After a week it seem to be working...

OK but too expensive
Unfortunately it's just too expensive for a chicory drink! I'll go back to buying a 1kilo bag of dried chicory root myself. I'll roast it gently in the oven and grind it to use in a French press.. Its more economical as it a drink at least 2-3 huge mugs a day.

Avoid!
Taste nothing like coffee and harsh on the stomach.
