I love this. I have combination dry/oily sensitive skin that loves moisture but breaks out under heavy products and needed something very lightweight, but moisturising that is also non-comedogenic. This is perfect. I layer it over vitamin c serum, niacinamide and a lightweight spf during the day, and over retinol at night. I've literally had no spots since starting to use it at the beginning of the summer. Now on second jar. Praying it offers enough hydration through the winter.

This isn’t the love of my skincare life, but it’s the reliable bestie that always shows up when I need it. It’s not the richest or most nourishing moisturizer I own, and I’m not a huge fan of water gel textures in general. But under makeup? Absolute perfection. Smooth, non-greasy, and layers like a dream. I’ll keep repurchasing just for that.

This moisturising works really well. The gel has a lovely feel although it might feel a bit powdery once it absorbs My one big gripe with it though is the scent. Way too much for me, although it might not be for others. If you tend to dislike stronger scents, maybe get one of the small samples from ELF to make sure this doesn't trigger your sensitivity

I found this really lightweight and it absorbs very quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue nor stickiness. I have quite sensitive skin that is prone to over use of products so I keep things quite simple. This moisturiser has done a great job of keeping my skin soft without irritating it. It’s not as moisturising as a cream style product, but I know my skin doesn’t like anything heavier than this. This is more like a serum than a cream

The ELF Holy Hydration line is great. I use the toner, eye cream, cleansing balm and Gel-yeah moisturiser and it's helped transform my skin - it's never been clearer! Not sure if it's because they're mainly a make up company but make-up sits perfectly ontop of all the products. This liightweight moisturiser leaves skin feeling soft, moisturised and is slightly cooling too. Have tried the cream version but this is the one I come back to. For reference I have dry skin and in early 30s. Highly recommend.

Lightweight, very good for combined and poly skin. I've been using it for a week and very happy with the results.

Feels nice on the skin but not that moisturising, would be good for oily/combination skin, I switched to the cream version which is good

I am in my late 50's and normally use a gel-cream for my combination skin. (at a higher price point than this) I was very curious to try this gel even though I have very sensitive skin and have to be careful what I use. I figured, "why not?" It's so inexpensive that I wasn't too worried if I ended up pitching it. I have to say, I was very surprised at how much I liked this. It does have a mild scent so was a bit nervous about that in the beginning. It feels amazing once applied- so cooling and no burning or irritation at all. It left my skin perfectly moisturized with no oily feeling whatsoever. Considering the price and that it's a drugstore brand, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again!
