Motorcycle boots TCX JUPITER 4 GTX Black, Black, 46

These boots are super comfortable, as I've spent several days already walking around in them when I forgot to bring street shoes to the office, but I do worry about long-term durability as they seem rather lightly built. There is good protection around the malleolus and in the toebox, but as an example, the lacing retention strap feels as though it could rip if I really reefed on it. That said, it is just for preventing the lacing from getting caught in something. I don't have any specific complaints yet, but will update this review if any specific shortcomings are apparent.

When I initially put these on, they felt great. The fit was perfect (after reading reviews, I purchase a size smaller and that recommendation paid off). They are very light, yet offer great support. However, after the first few times I wore them, they started to become uncomfortable while riding. My first trip with them was a five-day excursion, riding 6 - 8 hours per day. The first 4 days were fine, but on day 5 my feet really started to ache. I attributed that to a "break-in period", but since then I seem to have similar symptoms after about an hour or two on the bike. The odd thing is that the pain is while riding. Once I start walking the pain subsides. I added gel insoles but that didn't seem to have any impact. Not sure what the problem is, but I have not experienced this with any other shoe or boot (riding the same bike).

These are very comfortable boots for riding , or everyday wear. Sizing is dead on. When I first put them on, they seemed a bit tight, narrow. After wearing them for couple hours, they fit like a glove. I think they are more comfortable than my New Balance tennis shoes. Definitely recommend that you buy these.
