I found these years ago when my older niece & nephews were younger. I got some more for my brother’s younger lot. These are magnificent anywhere you’re waiting. I pulled them from my purse at a restaurant, & we played for over an hour. The girls absolutely loved making up the stories. I believe it helps increase their creativity, too. They are also great for gifts.

I used these to inspire my third graders to complete a fiction writing lesson. I rolled the dice and displayed the result on the document camera for all to see. It’s hard to beat the engagement we achieved!

I love these! They are quality made, and each side of each die is different. They have so many uses, from helping create a bedtime story for my daughter to creative writing prompts for me or an oral communication exercise for English language learners in my language arts class, there is so much I can do with these simple dice. Unlike other types of story dice, these won't get squished (paper cubes), torn (foam cubes), or erased (dry erase cubes). Trust me, I've tried them all. The only thing to keep in mind is that they are traditional d6 size, so if they get flung across the room, they have a good chance of getting lost.
