They're little pieces of rubber with a slit in them. The hourglass shape works well to keep them where you want them relative to the cable and frame. They seem pretty durable to this point. I only needed one where my rear derailleur cable contacts the chainstay on my road bike. They may be a little bit expensive for what they are, but when you need them... Not much else to say other than recommended.

I like it. It keeps your bike cables from being noisy or hurting the paint when they would slap against the bike frame. The real problem is that they are way overpriced in my opinion. Worth getting, yes, but actually worth it for what they are, no. I would still get them, but do feel like I am being taken advantage of.

Overall like the product due to its protective qualities, but wish they were available in more colors. Thank you.

As described, could be a little larger around only covers about half of the diameter of my cables but it still does what I wanted to protect the paint on my frame

Cable bumpers or frame protectors tend to slide around on the cable, even if they are sized so that they have to stretch a little to allow the cable to pass through. This product, however does not grab onto the cable *at all*. On the downtube shifting cables, they immediately slide to the bottom of the cable (worthless there) and then fall off. On the brake cables, they don't fall off, but they still slide around with alacrity. Avoid these if you want bumpers that stay on the cables and stay put where you want them on the cable.

I bought these for my sons bike and he is very happy with the way they look.

Installs in seconds. It feels like it is made of soft rubber material and no marring on the paint of my bike. It comes with 4 pieces which are more than enough. It's aesthetically pleasing.

Maybe a little small for my bike cables but they still do the job.
