What a pleasure! I bought this thinking I'd try to make 3 soft boiled eggs. Turns out, these can be the most difficult to get right. But I just followed the directions eggsactly, and despite an initially treacherous peel, succeeded. So delicious. The mfgs really knew what they were talking about. I used a timer to avoid problems. Nice small size. Perfect quality. Cleaned itself almost. Fast time. Efficient low power. Didn't test the auto shut off. It's probably just for if things cook too long. There's no dial, just a glowing button to show it's cooking. Very nice for the price. UPDATE: Beep beep beep! The auto shutdown works when the water has all boiled away. I was a little surprised and happy about this safety feature. I also find that this it makes the best eggs! The shells on medium boil just practically fall off the eggs almost. So delicious, and easier than heating up my RV in our current heat wave. I can leave my AC on because of the low wattage of this charming little cooker!

This little kitchen gadget has quickly become an essential part of my daily cooking routine. I can cook my eggs different ways. Poached, scrambled, sunny side up, soft, medium, or hard boiled. This has a built-in timer so you won't overcook or under-cook your eggs. Also included is a measuring cup, poaching tray, 7 egg steam rack, a bowl, a dome lid, and instruction manual with 16 recipes. The directions are easy to follow. Just add eggs, water, push the power button and within minutes your eggs will be ready. No more waiting for water to boil on the stove. I've also found that the eggs do not stick to the shell, so every egg is perfect when removing from the shell. This is very quiet while cooking. A buzzer alert lets you know exactly when the cooking cycle is complete to prevent overcooking. This Egg Cooker is small enough to to store in a cabinet as it is less than 6"x6", and is cute. All accessories are BPA-free and dishwasher-safe for quick, easy cleanup. I highly recommend this product – it's worth every penny!

Perfect to start morning easy setup

This egg cooker is exactly what I was looking for. Since recording my initial unboxing video, I’ve used it twice to make medium-boiled eggs, and they have turned out perfectly every time. The eggs were super easy to peel, and the instructions were straightforward to follow. I especially like that the measuring cup has a small needle (or thumb tack) on the end to poke holes in the wide end of the eggs, which helps ensure even cooking and makes peeling easier. The steel plate that holds the water does get dirty with use, but it’s easy to clean following the instructions—no problems at all. This cooker has already improved my morning routine by giving me a quick, healthy breakfast option. Highly recommend!

So convenient! I’ve only used the hard boiled function, the eggs come out perfectly cooked and easy to peel. The timer works great, you can set it and do something else while it cooks. So much easier than boiling them stove top! Minimum clean up, perfect for quick breakfast.

Got this a few months ago, and while it does boil and egg perfectly about 80% of the time its not flawless. After first use the metal plate is pretty discoloured and brown. You will only be able to fit one egg in each slot if they are quite small, even if you can fit large eggs ive broken them before trying to get the lid on. It is convenient for personal servings. Set it and forget it.
