I needed a short jumper and this works. Cat8 is overkill, but I prefer it because of the double shielding against interference.

We have fiber gigabit Internet service from our ISP and, unfortunately, the fiber optic switch inside the house and the router both need to be close to each other. They are, in turn, also close to a couple of heavy appliances and the power strip into which they are both plugged. I suspected that this was giving a small amount of interference that somewhat degraded my speeds behind the router and the overall signal quality. I got this to make the distance between he two shorter and, hopefully, the quality and heavy-duty nature of the cable would improve both of these. The cable is short, so installation was a little more awkward than I thought, but not overly so. Everything is pretty accessible, so it wasn’t a big deal for me. If however, you find yourself working in tight spaces (or conversely, if you need more room), you might want to make sure this will work for you. The cable itself is noticeably heavier and sturdier than an ethernet cable you might pick up elsewhere. Since I have gigabit service, I should normally expect about 940mbps (to account for overhead). Before installing this cable, I was at about 790-820gbps straight out of the router. After installing this, I was at a solid 900mbps. I didn’t change anything else about my setup, so it’s more than likely that this cable made a difference. For the price/quality, I would say that overall, this is a solid cable. Obviously, my use case was very specific and your results may vary, but for the most part, I am very happy with the cable and its performance. I can’t comment on it’s performance outdoors, but I see no reason why it wouldn’t perform equally as well.

This cable is 25 ft, definitely supporting my 2GB internet speeds like it should. I'm upgrading to CAT8 from CAT6, seems much smoother and working great on my TV and PS5 now.
