My elderly cat accepted this straight away, and seems to like it - I left his water bowl beside it so he could adapt gradually, but he ignored the bowl and used the fountain.It was really easy to set up, and, as advertised, the pump is almost silent. There's a gentle burbling sound from the moving water, which is quite relaxing, but that's all.I don't have to keep checking that there is water, just need to slot third day refills into my routine. I'm really happy with this: two of my friends have much more expensive models which you can hear from the next room!

My cat has frequent urinary issues so I encourage him to drink lots of water. He's still getting used to the fountain. Can't plug it in where his water bowl usually lives so he's drinking from both at the moment. Overall the product seems to be of great quality and it's very easy to set up/clean.

I bought this cat water fountain in January, it stopped working after 34 days use, Amazon CS were useless after 30 days.There is an email address on the water fountain bowl saying to get your free replacement pump from them ti contact them (I should have thought it was dodgy when I saw that), I have emailed them 4 times so far now and had 1 response asking for the order details (which were supplied) and thus is now 45 days later.Just don't buy this crap, and get one from a British supplier who is under a legal obligation to supply something that does actually do what it is supposed to do. Not this very expensive cat water bowl.Amazon should put tge country of origin on the product and we will know what quality to expect.

Great to be able to get refills for my cat water fountain (she dislikes drinking still water). They are a little pricey but not too bad

Delivered on time with great packaging. Easy to put together. The fountain is very quiet. A pleasant blue light. Can’t say if my cat has used it yet but I did see some tell tail wet paw marks in the floor. They give you an email address for free filters and offer to replace the motor if it breaks. What more could you ask? Would definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. When I bought the water fountain, I didn't expect that my cat would drink from it - I was very wrong.The design itself is solid and good looking, it's easy to replace the water, the pump is quiet and I think it calms the cat down to some extent.

This product is a game changer! My cat would never drink water from her bowl (regardless of where we put it) until we bought this. It’s also easy to clean and excellent value for money.

UPDATE:After trying to get the free filters as promised on the product, I was told they were no longer available. This is after being asked to provide a good review by the seller. I was going to give a review anyway as I find the product good, however the customer service team have let their side down. Just be wary of that.Cats are very picky about what they have to drink and mine wont drink water thats been left out overna day. As I had bought an automatic feeder, I decided to also get an automatic water source for them. To my surprise they took to it straight away. They were a little wary at first of the moving water but have increased their water intake which is great for their kidney health and hydration. This unit is very easy to set up and refill and runs silently. The blue light is useful to show where the water level is.

Price is good for this and it is important to change the filters regularly

I bought this fountain and it broke and I stupidly threw it away. Then I bought a new fountain which was different and my cat didn't want to drink out of it. So I bought this fountain again and I kept the other one but this is his absolute favorite. When I got this out of the box I noticed a sticker on it which said if the motor breaks they will replace it. And that's what had happened to my previous fountain. So had I known that they would have replaced the motor so just keep that in mind. Anyway this is a great looking fountain, it's quiet, and my cat loves it.

This fountain is awesome! The filter cleans out airborne dirt and hair to keep my kitty’s water clean. The container is big enough to last for days without having to refill. The sounds it makes are nice and soothing in the background and the best part is, the company will actually send you some FREE backup filters and they guarantee their pump with a FREE replacement in the event it breaks down! Super solid move. Easy buy for sure!

We have 5 cats. One by one, the cats tried it and liked it. Some like to drink from the shallow pool of water while a couple like to lap at the water as it flows over the ball. I love that it's stainless steel and easy to clean. It also doesn't spill much of you accidentally bump into it (provided you don't crash into it!); it's better than a bowl in that respect. This model even came with extra filters. It's quiet, too. If you have a cat who likes drinking from a faucet, then maybe a different design might suit them better. I also bought another fountain at the same time that has a sort of faucet feature. It's good, and the cats drink from it readily, but only one of them ever actually drinks from the water flowing from the faucet, and not all of the time.I have this fountain in my bedroom and the other one is in the kitchen. When I went to buy a third one for another bedroom, I got one of these. I think it's a really good value.Years ago, I had one of the early cat fountains that was plastic and had a water bottle that fit into the back of the fountain. There was a single filter that fit into the back of the fountain and the water pooled in the front. The cats loved it, but I hated it because it was a pain to clean, it would splash, I never felt as though I got it sanitary, and there was always a problem with cat fur in the pump, when with the filter and regular cleaning. Once that generation of cats was no longer with us, I retired that fountain. I went to stainless steel and ceramic bowls, which were easier to clean and more hygienic, but when my most reluctant drinker was diagnosed with a costly urinary tract problem (crystals forming in his bladder), I wanted to encourage him to drink more to support his urinary tract health. I figured that the options for pet fountains would have improved since the last time I'd bought one, and I'm very pleased to see that they have. I highly recommend this fountain for anyone who wants to give their cats fresh, clean, running water from a hygienic fountain.Note that the fountain has a blue light that is primarily visible through the bowl window that shows the water volume. It's slightly annoying in a dark bedroom, but I just turned the window towards the wall. If it really bothered me, I could cover the window, but it's okay now that it faces the wall (it makes no difference to the functioning of the fountain).
