Seems durable build , light and easy to position. However, the Makita battery version I bought is marginal on power, particularly if used in shallow water. Carefully positioned and in adequate water it will work reasonably steadily but at only a gentle flow, providing it does not have to push past any narrowing of the supplied flat hose. Kinks will stop the flow altogether. i suppose this goes with the convenience of a 1.8 volt Lithium battery and perhaps my criticisms are unfair in that context, but you certainly do not have power to spare with this pump. Also, make sure you buy two batteries with your charger because the pump tears through battery life. However, the pump does work adequately once you've covered its quirks, so 4 stars. Dealing with the quirks is why only 3 for ease of use.

I’ve used this pump to rig up a portable bike washer in the back of my car with a large water container for when I’ve been mountain biking in muddy conditions. I have a few Makita batteries so this was the most efficient way of doing a DIY job rather than spending a fortune on a stand-alone unit. The pump is really powerful and comes with piping to drain water from flooded areas or containers that are too heavy to move or are fixed in position.

This is a submersible pump made by a very well known company, who are a trusted and very respected company for making reliable and quality products, we have a number of items from this company and every tool we have has lasted for many years and is well built. So I was not expecting an inferior pump and this did not prove to be wrong, it is a well made pump and works excellently.The pump is not big, it measures just over 6 inches long and the base is 1.57 inches wide, so it is small but powerful enough to handle most jobs, it removes around 400 gallons per hour, so it is brilliant, in terms of noise it is not too bad, though it is obviously not silent as the pump makes a noise, but not mega loud.In the box you get the Water Pump, a 16ft Hose, a Hose Clip, Filter Base and a User Manual, there is no battery so do make sure you have a suitable battery, the types recommended are Bl1820, Bl1830, Bl1840, Bl1850, Bl1840b, Bl1850b and Bl1860b Battery.As we already had some batteries from this company, fitting one compatible was not an issue, if you need to buy one, then be prepared to pay a fair amount of money for one, as they are not cheap. Overall, this is an excellent submersible water pump, it has many uses and as it is a battery item there are no issues with electric wires or location, I like this pump and am happy to give it five stars.

Great pump for a good price.Well works, portable. Not to heavy.Perfect to use it for small pools.Quite powerfull, fast cooling down.Set contains 1x Water Pump, 1x 16ft Hose, 1 x Hose Clip,1 x Filter Base,1x User Manual.Very happy with this product.So surely can recommend it to all.

Great pump and made the life more easy when specially draining the hot water tank works perfect with makita 18v Battery.

I didn't have high hopes when I requested this and sadly those doubts were proven to be justified.I tried this on my 100 gallon water butt and it barely managed to generate a mild stream, rather than a proper flow. It was something akin to a regular kitchen tap running half flowrate. It wasn't having to lift the water a great deal from the butt either. The battery was an 18v, 4.0mAh fully charged battery so the poor performance wasn't down to power delivery. I do notice this pump says it's a 20v pump and I was using an 18v battery, but an 18v battery is shown in the product images so you'd assume that was fine.It does come with a few bits, basically everything you need to get going, but they're not standard hose sized and rather bespoke to this pump. That's not great.Overall I cannot recommend this pump given my experience. Maybe it was because this is a 20v pump being powered by an 18v battery so in the spirit of giving it the benefit of the doubt I'd say it's a 2/5.
