A Great Tasting Water from a Person Who Normally Doesn't Drink Bottled Water
I am a 71 year old man who has for many years felt that most of this bottled water craze is just a way to spend money. And for the most part that is exactly what it is! However, this water has been taste tested and won National Awards year after year. Most of the other bottled waters are owned by the same company, Nestle. Read your lables. My wife, had wanted to try some water that came from some island and I told her it would be better if it came from our own country. And this water does. My only concern with this water is that the distribution is not national. You have to buy it throgh places like Amazon. It is NOT cheap eather. Candidly, we don't drink a lot of it because we like it cold and the plastic bottles don't let the water get that cold. The larger glass bottles to tho. If you get the glass bottles they are shipped and packed individually so breaage is not an issue. Named “Best Tasting Water in the World” Twice at the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting.

Disappointed
The taste reminds me of water directly from a faucet, nothing special!

Love this water!!
I prefer water in glass bottles to avoid any chances of plastic leaching. I don't even want the "safe" plastics...just glass. Given this preference, I've shopped around for water in glass bottles. I've tried several kinds. I just recently came across this one and it is my absolute favorite so far. My former brand only came in 12 oz (not enough) and 28 oz (too much) size bottles. This Mountain Valley Spring Water comes in 16.0 oz bottles (perfect), and 33.8 oz bottles and the price is per Fl Oz price is better than any other bottled water I've purchased. It also tastes great and has naturally occurring calcium, magnesium and potassium. I'm certainly no expert on pH levels in water, but from what I've read on the Internet, it seems that the 7.8 pH in this water is also good.

Finally some good water
I've honestly never enjoyed the taste of water. It's always thought all water had a metallic (not mineral - metallic like drinking off a copper pipe) - even the water I get filtered from the dispenser in the fridge so I would mainly drink soda for the taste. However, that's not a healthy way to live so I wanted to change. Everywhere I read had people suggest sparkling water (i.e. Bubbly or Pellegrano) to get water with some carbination and it was honestly some of the worst tasting stuff I've had. I then started trying mineral and/pure water which wasn't bad, but wasn't any better than what I got essentially free from my fridge water dispenser. Then I read people talking about water tasting better in glass bottles and people talked about Mountain Valley Spring water so I decided to buy a case. It's what I always imagined water was supposed to be whenever people talked about it: it was clean and refreshing. The only gripe is that it's so expensive that it's pretty much a luxury given that while it does taste great, it's not really worth paying the high price given I can get it for free from my kitchen dispenser. Still, if you are looking for water, you can't go wrong with this stuff.
