Quality is ok for short term use. As there is limited choices out there for a 8 yo boy, so i guess this could be it. Most important kids love it, see them happy makes it a score too.It could be better

I ordered two pairs of these (for my 6 and 3 year old) for their Halloween costumes and both sizes fit as expected! The quality of these is very nice; soft and sturdy. Even though they are for costumes, these would be good for every day wear and I think will wash and wear very nicely. Highly recommend.
