Used this kit to hard wire my VIOFO A229 Pro dashcam to my 2012 Audi TT. I’ve been using this for over 6 months now with absolutely no issues, the process was very straight forward after watching a YouTube video but you do also get instructions with the kit.The kit has everything you need for the hard wire including an electrical testing tool which is essential and fuses if needed. The cable length is very reasonable too and I would be very surprised if anyone has issues with that.Overall I’m very happy with my purchase, great value for money considering what you get and how reliable it’s proven to be. I use parking mode with my dashcam which again hasn’t caused me any issues with battery drain etc. Once the car battery gets below a certain voltage the hard wire module cuts power to the dashcam stopping the battery from going completely flat.

This is good for the purpose and it came with good instructions on how to install it. Even an inexperienced person can do it.

Easy to wire up due to the included tester. Fuses for all sizes so it's a one size fits all kit... buy it! thank me later :)

This is definitely a worthwhile kit to use for hardwiring a dashcam. Nice and easy installation and even comes with a little trim tool to help tuck everything away.

Cheapest and works. Got a fair amount of electrical noise the camera picks up (filtering on the original power supply was better) and had to buy extra wire to extend the backup trigger wire but mostly down to the car design.The fuses saved me some wiring which was nice.Best bang for buck.

After a few buying and returning for one reason or another this one finally does the job with ease.Easy to install if you look at a couple of videos on ytube because let's face it most of us are not auto electricians.Quality is good.Fitting the cables around the car is what I find the most tedious when fitting things like this but hey that's part of the job.Marks out of 10 would be 9.5 because nothing is perfect.

Didn’t work. I’ve installed it correctly as confirmed by a dash cam installer and this hardwire kit does not draw/produce enough power from the fuse to power the dash cam when the engine is off. No way I can see to contact seller to address this, so beware when buying that some units are faulty. Works when engine is powered, hence the second star.
