This punching cradle has saved my life!
I LOVE this punching cradle. It is cute, compact, easy to bring with me, and makes extremely quick work of punching holes for my hand bound journals I make. I love that it has so many holes, and that they are numbered so it is very easy to decide your perfect distribution for yourself. I personally like to punch odds or 3s, and find this makes my journals look almost machine made with how clean, neat and perfect they are lined up. If ever something should happen to my cradle, I will definitely purchase again!I also love that it came with a very nice awl, with straight edges instead of tapered, which ensures my holes stay uniform and not too wide. The curved needles are my favorite! I love the ease they make sewing. I'm not a fan of pre waxed thread, so I haven't used the thread that came with it, but some of the people in a class I was teaching loved it for it's thickness and that it did not tangle as easily.

Love it
Thread was too big to be any use but I love the punch cradle so much.Easy to use, though the holes arent always spaces out exactly where I would like them, i always make it work. Not 100% necessary for book binding but a breeze to use and highly reccomended

This is one of my favorite gifts to myself
I have wanted to try my hand at bookbinding for quite some time. I've made miniature books but nothing that warranted having a punching tool. Recently, I finished writing the first book I want to publish someday, but I can't afford to publish it quite yet. However, I also wanted to send a copy to my sister for her to read. Since she doesn't use any of the electronic means of reading books, I printed a copy of my book and bound it before attaching a cover. I am so please with the way this helped with the process. I look forward to doing it again some day.

Great even spacing tool
This was bought to make small handmade books. Not the most expensive but will get the job done.

How did I live without this?
I will never not use this punch cradle. I wish the holes were a bit smaller to be a perfect fit for the awl it comes with, it’s a little loose so some of my signatures don’t line up 100 percent, but 99 percent is still pretty dang good, especially for the price! I love it so much, great beginner’s tool!

Nice little set to punch holes
For book or even thicker multi page card making. I am surprised that I never looked at it carefully. Even the Amazon site has a fully detailed photos of how it’s used. So many possibilities. Plastic hole maker with straight or round needles, thread and little pick. Another item for the card maker or scrap booker.

Could be useful with at most two sheets
I love the weight of this but I noticed that when I use it, not all the pages in my signatures get punched through sometimes and when they are the hole is microscopic and hard to see. It’s great for marking each hole, but I don’t think I’ll use it again. I could see others liking it though
