Berkley FireLine Superline Fishing Line

I’ve been using Fireline for years! This was a great value for the money! I don’t use it for fishing. So I wouldn’t know about castability. It is smooth yes and the color accuracy is spot on. Knot strength is good…you don’t want to get this stuff tangled…it will knot and you won’t get it out…lol. I love the 6 pound because of the thickness. I use it for beading instead of thread as it holds up much better than the other beading threads on the market

I use this for my seed beading. The quality of this is good. It worked just great for what I needed it for.

this 4 lb. FireLine is perfect for beading, exceptionally strong, fits through small beading needle eyes, runs smoothly through leather, backings, etc. and doesn't tangle. I did buy a fishing line cutter to use because scissors don't work as well to cut the line cleanly. When sewing, the line (as thread) has some stiffness - it takes a bit of adjusting to get used to its behaviour, but less of a hassle than thread that twists or tangles or knots.

I've been using 4 or 6# Fireline to make 3D Peyote Stars for many years. It only fails me if it is next to a bead with a sharp edge (rarely - and not the threads fault!) Strong, feels smooth, easy to thread, holds a knot if you use a thread burner, good value and it takes a lot to make it fray!

Extremely forgiving in case wind knots start to form- easy to fix. Very strong and makes great knots. Worth the price- will definitely buy again!

Works nicely for creating beaded items. Strong but very flexible. However, I recommend special cutters made for cutting fishing line. Highly recommend.
