Explanation of Each Product "I love this set and I'm going to get more."
The silver came to me in great condition. After reading some of the reviews I was a little nervous about the forks. But here is my run down of each product.First off:If you're buying this set, its a transition from the plastic or plastic and metal silverware you would give to a toddler learning to use their forks and spoons. Meaning, if you're going to give this to a toddler, they understand the basics of how to use them and where not to put them and most of what not to do with them. The Knife:You could actually cut food with this knife, it is a butter knife so it's not very sharp but still very usable. So if you aren't ready to let your kid touch a knife, the size makes them very easy to store away for a bit until you are ready. The Spoon:Unlike something like the Gerber spoons, it's not as long but the spoon is deeper by enough to make a slight difference. The shape is very circular compared to most spoons. The Fork:Most toddler forks have wide, rounded prongs. Adult forks have thin, pointed prongs. This is where the comment "The fork is too sharp" is from. The prongs are equal length to a toddler sized fork. This is good because children at this age still have such small mouths that using even the small adult fork makes most people nervous to give their child. However, unlike toddler forks, these ones have pointed prongs. When compared to adult forks, the sharpness is about equal. So when buying these, consider the facts of "Is my child ready for this." If you're willing to give your child an adult fork while you are out at a restaurant, this fork is no issue. And is probably a lot safer just based on the length alone.Things I Suggest:Inspect your set regardless. If there is a defect in how the product was made (probably a mold filled up) then try to contact their customer service for a replacement. Mine came in perfect condition and the images engraved into the end are clear and cute. If you're not sure about the forks, grinding them down is an option but it's not necessary. I highly recommend getting the small set first to try it out if you're still unsure after reading my review.Packaging:It came in a bubble envelope and were separated in tiny bags inside. It's easy to see how there will be times you might get a double of one item on a rare occasion. As I said before, try contacting them for a replacement or something if there's anything wrong with your product or you get the wrong stuff by accident.Extras:I haven't had any experience going through the company's customer service so I'm unsure as to how they work.I've had this for about 2 months maybe a little more or less and they're still in good condition.I use this with a 3 year old but I wish I found these when she was 2.

Perfect for little hands!
These are great for littles! My daughter is 5 and likes to make her own PBJ sandwiches (of course supervised) and the knife is small enough for her to handle easily. I highly recommend.

Great quality, price and design! For ages 2-92!
Purchased this 9 piece stainless steel kids cutlery set for my 5 year old. He can use standard size utensils (fork and spoon) but I purchased mostly for him to practice with the knife. The size of the utensils is perfect for little hands. In a pinch, an adult could easily use these as well, or to pack in their lunch bag for work, travel or on the road. The the handles are light and easy to grab, the food actually stays on the spoon or fork, which is seemed to be an issue with all the hard plastic kid utensils we have tried (from Ikea, Target, etc). My son asks for the forks with the "bear" on them. They have a cute engraved teddy bear design on each piece. I put them in the dishwasher every night and they come out looking brand new. Excellent buy. Excellent price. Excellent quality. Will be purchasing more.

Great for kids & adults!
I really like these silverware sets. These are great and heavy duty! I absolutely love that they are high quality stainless steel. The price point is unbeatable! These are actually for me (adult). They are the closest I could find to what I’m looking for. I am using smaller silverware/dishes for better portion control. My only concern is the handle edges of these pieces are a bit sharp. As an adult I can work around this, but a child has far less dexterity. ***Maybe make a set w/out engraved decals & market for post Bariatric Patients. With enough publicity, it would be a best seller guaranteed!! $$$

Perfect for my 4 years old
My kiddo is almost 4 years old henceforward i wanted to buy stainless steel cutlery for her. The cutlery made of other materials specifically plastic (child-safe) deforms after months of usage and looks very bad. I have even bought biodegradable spoons and forks but again they wither sooner than i imagine. This stainless steel cutlery is perfect for my kiddo since she knows how to use them well. Not too heavy for those tiny little hands.Easy cleaning, handling, erxtremely sturdy and durable material. Love the cute little pattern on the bottom.I received 3 forks 3 spoons and 3 knives thus making a set of 9.

Edges are a bit rough for kids
3.5 - 4 starsThese utensils are a good weight, rather thick, and seem like they'll hold up well.I saw other reviews talking about the forks having sharp tines ... they are.I was imagining people meant they were sharp as in pointy, but they are sharp like the edges aren't finished well.Imagine having a fork with thick tines that are really long, then cut them down with wire cutters without tapering or polishing them. They are rough and kind of pokey. I've been keeping an eye on my 2 year old while he uses these, so far we're ok.The butter knives are actually sharper than my regular flatware, but I don't think sharp enough to hurt himself.I think if you watch your kids while they're using these they should be fine. I definitely wouldn't let a kid under 2 use them.My kid likes the animal prints on them.Would rate higher if the edges were better finished / tapered (that includes the spoons!)

Great Big Kids Set
Bought this set for my 2.5 yr old. The larger baby forks and spoons were getting too young for her. She could use regular silverware but it was a bit cumbersome. This set is the perfect size and I think it will last for for a couple years. They have cute little pictures on them which make them special for her (although try to pass off a regular utensil and she will notice the picture is missing :P ) Anyway - bought another set for her for our house, two sets for gram and grandpas house and one for my sister's baby. So far they are fine in the dishwasher. No issues.
