Gorgeous colors...very nice pigment

The media could not be loaded. This colors are so gourges! I always wanted, and when I have the opportunity, the system not allows me to buy it. Finally trough a seller here, I can buy it, and I'm very pleased with that!So, this set of watercolors are so beautiful, rich, very pigmented, creamy and flows very nicely in the paper. But, I think, in comparison of the woodland set, that I love, this set...It's missing something... I think a dark color like black would be great! If you see, Chant 98 and Namsté 101 are almost similar. Chant 98 is just a bit creamier than Namasté. The other colors are super beautiful! I would only change that detail. I don't regret to bought them, I'm super happy!!!I highly recommend this! And the seller too! Many thanks!

This is the fourth set of these I have bought. Reading the reviews, it seems people are put off because these are not rated for anything that regular watercolors are rated. Prima must have noticed that because now the swatch is bigger, and for each blank color section, is has lightfastness, pigment numbers etc. While these aren't usually used for watercolors in the real sense of the word, those of us that use them for mixed media purposes do care about longevity. We want archival quality, because if we do a work, and gift/sell it, we don't want it fading in the future. What I like about these rather than regular watercolors is that I don't have to worry about not mixing enough of the color I want and running out. Then I'm stuck trying to recreate the color, which often times doesn't happen. So I'm lazy, I pick the color I want out of this palette (or one of Prima's other palettes), and I have the whole 1/2 pan of it to use. They wet up nicely, are creamy to work with and come off the brush very easily with no brush staining. The cases are nice to work with and have a metal tab that can be bent to make sure the pan doesn't move or fall out. I just spent 20 minutes replacing all the pans in my real watercolor set as they all fell out because I didn't open the palette just right. Worth a try, I think you'll like them!

I love Art Philosophy sets and this one is no exception! The paints are very pigmented, play nicely together and are fun to mix. They can by layered on very sheer in most cases though some shades in this set are more opaque than others. These provide a nice mix of colors for a variety of projects and are continent to travel with as well in the small tin.

I like the compact collection of watercolors. I collect the sets as new collections come out. This set is very earthy in color and would be good for many themes. Included is a printed swatch card where you can fill in the color. The colors do not have chemical names but lyrical names like Adore, Chant, Emotion. Cute but I prefer the 'real" paint names though I 'heard" that you might be able to find these on their website. Don't know if this is true. They brand themselves as professional, but what professionals really need to know if they sell things, how stable are the paints? Are they fugitive? Do they fade? I do not know. I use my sets for art journalling and card making.

I swatched each cube and the colors are gorgeous, serene, soothing, and to me, breath taking. You'll see what I mean when you read the names of the paints. I would recommend these to anyone. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

This has become my favorite palette! The colors are so beautiful and I can’t get enough them. The color Adore is my hands gown favorite. Beautiful.
