Very Impressed
I have a set of HexClad pans, which I love. Although I usually prefer my cast iron, I would recommend the HexClad pans all day. When a Black Friday sale rolled around I figured I would give the chef's knife a try since I've been impressed with their stuff so far. I prefer a chef knife with a little weight to it and this fit the bill perfectly.I've been using a Messermeister chef knife and while it's a great knife, the craftsmanship and the overall feel of the Hexclad knife is superior in my opinion. The dark green wooden handle is stunning and sits well in my hand. It looks incredible on my magnetic knife strip. I'm really surprised how much I love this knife. Next time a sale comes around I'm going to look into the rest of the knives to complete the set.If I remember, I'll follow up on how well the edge holds. But for now, this thing is SHARP. It literally shaves the hair off my arms (which is not its full time use lol) so be careful!

Nice knife
Got this on sale, and I'm pleased with it. Very sharp, lovely balance to the thing, and decent heft overall. Seems sturdy in the hand. Can't speak to how well it holds an edge longer term, but I expect it will do well.Would I pay full price? Not sure. I think there might be better deals out there and you might be paying a lot for Mr Ramsays name to be associated with the knife. I have heard mixed reviews about their cookware. But the knife is great. Love the color as well.

Very sharp and good weight
The knife is very sharp and has a very good weight to it. It’s got the sharpness of a Japanese santoku and the weight of a German made knife. Very pleased.

Nice
The knife has weight, good quality, the grip is nice, and I think it’s worth the money. I’d buy another from this brand. Oh, and very sharp!
