I work as a massage therapist and receptionist at a spa (about 15 hrs per week per job), which sees me washing my hands and forearms with soap 20+ times per day. I'd given up on using lotion on my hands throughout the day for fear of transferring product onto a client who might be allergic to ingredients in my lotion and because of greasy transference onto phones, keyboards, and documents at the front desk. In the winter however, the skin around my nails gets so dry that it cracks at the edges of my thumbs, making massage very painful.Two days after using this lotion 5-6 times per day, the dryness and tightness of the skin on my hands was no longer painful. I was pretty worried, though, because this lotion is rather expensive and I didn't want to go through a $30 bottle that quickly, even if it was worth it. A week later, I only had to use the lotion 2-3 times per day (usually morning and before bed) to achieve the same hydrated feeling. Even after washing my hands all day and not applying any lotion, my skin won't crack! Best of all, this lotion dries down in a matter of seconds, so I can use it throughout my day if I want to. There's absolutely no residue or greasy transference onto clothing, phones, keyboards, paper, anything! I keep a 4 oz bottle in my purse and a 16 oz bottle on my nightstand. I brought it up to my dad, who struggles with eczema and cracking so bad that he has multiple band-aids on his bleeding fingers all winter, and it's helped him too. I'll never be without this stuff again!

The best moisturizer I have ever used. My dermatologist recommended using it and I don’t use any other lotion now. A little goes a long way so one bottle lasts a long time. It’s not greasy feeling at all.I use it as a makeup primer and all over lotion. It doesn’t have any strange smells like a lot of shielding lotions tend to have.I have a lot of skin issues and it doesn’t make them worse, it helps soothe all of the skin issues I have. It doesn’t burn or sting when I use it.This is the best shrilling lotion I have used.

Price could be allot lower, but this stuff works great... not greasy at all is what I like most about it... I use this on my hands and areas of my body when needed...

I've been using SkinMD for several years. It's part of my morning and evening regimen for my face. There is no greasy feeling or look. It feels light and clean and makes my skin 'happy' and moisturized. Also important - the lotion does not cause breakouts. I don't have to use much product for each application - a little goes a long way - so for the price it's a really quite a great buy. Highly recommend.

We've been using Skin MD for about 1 year now and can't get enough - we get the BIG bottles and have them all over our house. Our family of 6 all loves it - two of my kids are prone to super-dry, itchy, cracked skin and it has soothed their skin so much! As a mom I always have my hands in the water or cleaning something and this has helped moisturize my chapped skin so much! My daughters both are very active outside/swimming etc and their loooooove Skin MD for their entire body because it absorbs quickly, is not sticky and makes their skin super-soft and healthy. I've been using Skin MD Natural Shielding lotion for a year now with this being my second purchase. My first one was the two bottle offer with one bottle having sunscreen (both are great). I have Dyshidrosis eczema on my elbows and fingers. I've tried everything including prescription medication I use the lotion 4 or 5 times a day and my skin hasn't broken out once since then. I even used it on my lips and nostrils when I had a cold and didn't get the usual chapped lips or skin cracking. I've also tried Glove in a bottle and it works great too BUT Skin MD feels silkier and is worth the slightly higher price to me because I use it all over my body including my feet. Anytime I feel an itch, I put some on. Skin MD has cleared up my rough patches on my knuckles from many years of scratching from eczema. Wonderful product and will be a life-long user.

After the regular one ran out, I was being cheap and didn't get it. My face started to have uneven complexion and things started getting meh again. A few weeks ago I decided to go ahead and buy the large bottle. After a little my face was definitely staying hydrated; however, I did notice my cheeks were getting some kind of bumpy rash/kind of like acne. I waited a little to see if it was a coincidence, it lingered was getting larger. I stopped the skinMD and went back to the old moisturizer I was using for awhile, it started to slowly dissipate. I tried the skin MD again after the rash like thing went away, the same thing happened. I then remembered back to a review on here that there was an ingredient change. I didn't think it would bother me; however, the "guidelines" for ingredients that person probably uses are also the ones I use. I was really disappointed, so I had to return it. There was no way of getting around that problem with it for ME; however, most people wouldn't have an issue. I HIGHLY recommend this product. I use the gloves in a bottle for my hands, especially now that the virus is going around and I am washing my hands a lot. I hope they change the ingredients back again. Maybe in the future I will be able to use it!
