I did a direct comparison between this and the slightly larger Sportneer board, as well as the Revbalance, which this one really seems be aimed at, in terms of competition. I prefer the shape of this one - the useable surface is nearly the same as the other Sportneer board. Length is the same, this is just a couple inches narrower, but with plenty of room to move around for my size 10 feet. For the trade off, you get a more manageable size to store and a little less weight. The larger board has a sandpaper type surface - great if you're wearing shoes, and I don't mind it with bare feet, but this one is a much nicer padded surface - more like you find on the tops of paddle boards. I'll include a close up image to show the thickness. It won't wear as well if you're using it with shoes or outdoors, but for bare feet or socks, it's great - plenty of traction with no abrasiveness. I'm pretty sure it's the same type of surface the Revboards use. The combination of roller and ball, and the wide variety of ways to configure the safety rails give this a wide range of challenges - and you can make it easier or harder depending on what type of surface you're on (maybe start with thick shag carpet if you don't have great balance. Ha!) . I've only been using it a few days, so I can't comment on how it's going to hold up long term, but the roller, ball, and board all seem well made and look like they will last. I think my only complaint is that the half-circle safety rails have no indentions, so pulling them off takes some effort. At first I thought I was going to have to use a butter knife or thin object to slide under them, but once I used two hands and concentrated on getting a good grip, they came off. It's kind of weird, since the straight ones have well made indentions that makes removing them super easy - I'll show a photo of the two so my description is clear. This a pretty minor complaint, but more of a note for Sportneer to correct it in later versions. There were no reviews on this version when I bought it - I think it's pretty new, but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. If you're looking at these types of roller balance boards, I think this is a great choice, and the inclusion of the ball means that you're in no danger of getting outgrowing it unless you have absolute top-tier level balance. All around, given the competition, this is a good way to go.

Bought this board to help strengthen my ankles after running injury. I really enjoy it, it is fun! It has helped improve my ankle mobility. I like that you can change the distance and skill on the back. My toddler also enjoys playing with this. I would not recommend this if you only have hardwood floors as it is slick but that could be based on my experience level vs being able to use on hardwood floors in general.

I wanted to learn to snowboard and got this to help me develop some skill before my first lesson. Snowboard instructor was very impressed with how much quicker I was able to adapt to the snowboard and advance faster than a majority of his students. I love the ability to change “modes” with this balance board. It keeps it interesting and fun. The build is sturdy and it is easy to use. It is adaptable to individual levels of balance. I have noticed that since purchasing this the cost of this board has significantly increased and seems be overpriced. This is the reason I am giving it 4 stars.

Got to help with balance for ice skiing / hockey. Really good fun; with the balance on the roller, the learning curve is pretty steep / fast, so not sure it'll help balance that much, but with the ball, especially on one foot it's a serious challenge. Well made and great bit of gear. Leave it in the living room and the kids have a play with it all the time.

Got this balance board for our family and everyone has been using it. Balance improved very quickly after just a few days of using it! Definitely recommend it.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Balance Board! Ich habe es als Geschenk für die ganze Familie gekauft und sowohl Kinder als auch Erwachsene sind begeistert. Die Qualität ist wirklich hervorragend, das Board ist stabil und ausreichend dick, sodass man nie das Gefühl hat, dass es irgendwann brechen könnte. Besonders viel Spaß macht das Balancieren auf der Kugel. Auch die magnetischen Begrenzungen sind super, da sie verhindern, dass die Rolle oder der Ball herausrutschen. Ein kleiner Tipp: Wenn eure Nachbarn unter euch sehr empfindlich auf Geräusche reagieren, empfehle ich Möbelpads (Filzgleiter) für Stuhlbeine zu kaufen und an die Stellen des Boards zu kleben, die häufig den Boden berühren. Beim Balancieren berührt man mit irgendeiner Kante immer wieder den Boden und das Geräusch kann recht deutlich sein. So erspart ihr euren Nachbarn unnötigen Lärm. Insgesamt ist dieses Balance Board eine großartige Sache für die ganze Familie! Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
