Another Great Quality Product From Resiblock But I Have One Better.
We used resiblock efforecence remover on our brown & black bridle block driveway which removed quite a bit of the salt that was still on top & in the block which made them look a lot browner and blacker with the white stones that were in it (we didn't know that they had different coloured stone chipping bits in them which look really, really nice) but after we rinsed the resiblock away we had noticed that not all of it had gone as around the edges of some of the blocks which were really still white before & after we had resiblocked which we felt was going to cost us a fortune in resiblock ER as at nearly £20 for a 5ltr size it doesn't come cheap so we did some research on some cheaper options to remove the salt & we had found out that white vinegar was perfect for it we read to use the vinegar 50/50 with water meaning mixing in water to the same amount of white vinegar which we did on our driveway (also don't forget when you use resiblock or white vinegar salt remover after you have left it in the blocks for about 5-8 mins to over it with hard bristled brush i recommend using a yacht brush & definitely not a plastic bristled brush to brush away the salt evenly over the top of the blocks ready to wash it away & if has dried to much after the 5-8 mins soaking in period them just sprinkle some water very lightly over it to moisten it up again up & when when you have let it all perfect dry to let the resiblock ER or the white vinegar to push he salt up to the block surface with the aid of the sun & the wind then rinse it all off and away down your nearest drain but don't use a horse powerful hose spray on the blocks as you don't want to push the salt back into the blocks but just let the water soak into the blocks then by using a left to right & repeat again & again motion to push the salt and water away by creating a mini rippling wave which will work for you perfectly & repeat the process as may times as you think you need too to wash the salt away) but after we had done it by using the 50/50 method which worked very well we felt that after it had perfect dried but was rinsed by myself super perfectly the really white soaked in to the block edges salty was was still there but less than it was before we then decided to go for the 100% straight white vinegar method with no water added to it (also i recommend using a clean or a new garden watering can to spread evenly the resiblock ER/white vinegar over the area that you are using it for also try using some malt white vinegar from asda which we had used first at 39p for a 1 litre bottle or your nearest supermarket that is if they stock it & not brown malt vinger as the brown vinegar version won't work & please don't use the white vinegar on any food that you have as it will probably make you very ill but you can try it if you want too) which we did & after washing it away & then letting it dry we looked at it & saw it worked tremendously & a lot better than the resiblock ER version plus like us even after leaving it for around another 5 days or so before we were going to dry kiln sand it & then to use of resiblock matt finish paving block sealer to seal it we had gone over the driveway in water then left it try which was still pushing even more salt out with the help of the soaked in white vinegar which then we rinsed away in leaving it i would say mostly salt free which i totally in recommend for you to do to like us we had watered it all & brushed it all clean with fairy washing up liquid & then rinsed it all away with just the hose plus we had kartchred the gaps in between the blocks free of all dirt, moss, plants, bird mess (which we did before we had white vinegard it which i suggest you should too but only if you need too to get 100% of the cleaning use of the white vinegar or resiblock ER) to prepare it for the dried kiln sand & then sealing it process which i will be starting tomorrow & if your do need some salf efforesence remover and want to use the white vinegar way which to me is better than the resiblock ER way that white vinegar we had used was brought from amazon at £12.15 for 4x5ltr (20ltrs in all) which was the semi clear/white plastic tubs with the blue label saying white vinegar on it with the chinsee wording printed under it, also check out on google & on amazon white vinegar reviews in other ways what you can use white vinegar for & you won't believe too. And i hope this using white vinegar or resiblock ER review helps to too.

RESIBLOCK EFFLORESCENCE REMOVER
Used this prior to sealing my patio - did the job well.

Waste of money
What a waste of money, applied as directed - didn't make a heap bit of difference in removing any efflorescence.

Didn't work
All these efflorescence products have mixed reviews, but this one had fewer negative reviews than the others, so decided to take the risk. But after repeated applications, there was absolutely no improvement. Tried vinegar - got better results at 20th of the cost. But even that was barely any improvement, and ended up using red fence stain on my brickwork, with surprisingly good results in a fraction of the time, even allowing for painting each brick individually.
