👑𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡👑This is the second book in this series Dark Kingdom and I was totally hooked right from the very start. I read Code of Silence first and loved that we had alittle glimpse of those two. This is just the start for the DARK KINGS.Emilee has come home to help care for her sick mother after her father died, but what she didn't bargain on was her father's business partner screwing her over multiple times. She goes to the famous kings and asks for help but it isn't as straight forward as she thinks.Titan is a real alpha male and really lives up to it, being king. Titan is all work and when he sees Em after all this time he really makes her work for everything.I absolutely loved reading this book and this characters kept me glued to every page. This book has everything twists, shocks, alot of suspense, steam and dark angsty drama. I love the plot in this book and feel it flows throughout perfectly. I love this authors writing style and if your looking to be captivated into the dark world of four alpha males jump right in because I can't wait to read grave.

A good story from this author. It is well written and entertaining. Not sure I loved it though. Might read the next book

Okay so I loved this book titan and bones and the massage room was hot lots of smut good story line that kept me glued I didn't want to put it down

This was the first full length book in the dark kingdom series, Emilee left everything behind & moved to Chicago but when circumstances bring her back, she finds herself at the mercy of her father’s business partner George & to an extent, the Kings especially Titan. Asking for a job as a Queen working for Titan, she finds herself drawn into a world of alcohol, parties & her undeniable longing for Titan which they both tried to hide since high school when she was with Bones.Now she is back, she is determined to get out from the mess around her family & finds herself in an emotional battle between staying with Titan and escaping Vegas. Titan & Emilee have such good chemistry & the book kept me hooked since the beginning, I finished it in less than 24 hours and seriously could not put it down!!

Titan is the first to fall out of the four Dark Kings. These characters initially appear in Code of Silence, which is Luca and Haven's story -and whilst this series is considered a standalone, I would highly recommend reading that book first in order to get a better idea of what's going on.Similar to COS, the first time I read this I was all for it and liked it more than I did this second time around unfortunately. I really wanted to like this book more as I was a big fan of the Dark Kings in COS and I felt like there was a lot that could have been explored in their books.Emilee has moved on from college and is living her life in Chicago, until she gets a call that her father has passed away. Returning to Sin City is a big move for her, especially when she comes back to find out her father's business partner is in control of everything her father owned. Finding herself in a tight spot, she turns to the Dark Kings for help, hoping that her previous connection to them will give her some leeway.Titan and his business partner's are well aware of who Emilee is, especially given she used to 'date' his best friend Bones whilst they were all in college. Although he's wanted her since they were both young, he constantly gives her the impression that he hates her and isn't willing to help her out of her bind, unless she offers something in return. Thus leading to Emilee becoming a Queen and working for him.My main issue with this book is that there were so many side plots that could've been explored and yet weren't. Instead this felt very surface level and consisted mostly of Emilee going back and forth between people trying to find someway to make money. Whilst I was a fan of the s*x**l chemistry between her and Titan, I didn't ever feel like it went deeper than just s*xu*l attraction for either of them. I also never understood why Titan, although he admits to loving Emilee since the '3rd grade', appears to hate her and think she's stuck up throughout college. Although she doesn't seem like the easiest person to get along with and a bit of a loner, I didn't feel like any of the flashbacks highlighted her being particularly snobbish.Similar to COS, I felt like this had a good underlying storyline, but it just wasn't executed as well as it could have been and the situation with Emilee's father at the end seemed a little reused. I did like the consensual s*xu*l encounters in this book as they were quite steamy, especially some of the exhibition*sm/sh*ring scenes. However, I wish Emilee hadn't kept flitting between Titan and Bones, especially when there was so much emphasis on her understanding that what her and Bones had when they were younger wasn't love... I get that she had a deeper connection with him then but her present feelings kept seeming to fluctuate up and down regarding the situation and there was no real explanation for it.I rated this 3 stars, which I am a bit disappointed about as I expected more from this story. I'm hoping the rest of the Kings and Nite's stories have more background to them, as I think this did have some plot holes that needed to be filled. I hope Nite doesn't end up with Jasmine though as I don't really like her character -there are hints of her having deeper background issues but I couldn't really move past the fact that she willingly slept with a married man and none of them seemed all that bothered by it. Also, I'm team Mia and Nite so I know I won't enjoy Nite's book if he doesn't end up with her!TW: Physical abuse/Torture with some explicit details.Titan is book 1 in the Dark Kings series.

Nice amount of spice and story.Can't wait to read the rest of the series and Silent Nite (hurry up Shantel)!

Titan is the first book in the highly anticipated Dark Kings series by Shantel Tessier and this series has got off to a bang!You got a brief introduction to ‘The Kings’ in Code of Silence, as they are friends with Luca and Haven and now comes the four book series, though these can be read as standalone’s.Titan is the ‘King’ that runs the ‘Queens’ - the exclusive secret escort service and he definitely doesn’t suffer fools gladly, he’s intense and makes no apologies for who and what he is!Emilee is best friends with Haven (from Code of Silence) and someone who the Kings were at school with and she’s back in Vegas after finding out her father has died suddenly. Already heartbroken, things only get worse for Emilee and her and Titan’s complicated past only adds to her confused state of mind.It’s a dark, suspense and hot as hell ride, with lots of twists and turns - just when you think you have it figured out Shantel throws you another curveball, this is going to be one h€ll of a series, ‘Grave’ book 2 can’t come soon enough!Shantel you did it again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Okay so now Im totally obsessed with this series! I gotta get more of these Kings and their Queens. Its hot, hilarious (Jaz's fault mostly) suspense, action with a little gore, betrayals, lots of steam with sinful powerful males. I need more Now please!Read it 😉Enjoy

OH HECK YES! !🙌🏻🔥🙌🏻I have been sweatin it out, panting with anticipation waiting for Titan’s story y’all. Of course Shantel slayed his story like the queen of dirty, dark and delicious she is!! This fantastic book kills it. With punch after punch. Hitting every feeling you’ve got. It will keep you on the edge wondering WHAT IN THE HOLY DOODLE is happening?!?! You will be sucked in from the moment you start this book until you close out of it, lost in the epic book hangover I assure you is upon you! So grab a drink, a snack, and Buckle Up Baby Shantel’s about to take you on one hell of a ride back to Sin City.I love the deliciously arrogant book heroes. You know the ones, you start out semi-despising them?! That’s Titan and before you know it you’re obsessed with him. He is unapologetic for who he is and he’s alpha AF! He’s dark, and borderline dangerous and you definitely don’t want to cross him. He is protective of Emilee beyond measure. Which she finds confusing because he has always hated her. He wants to own her in every way, and he will! He may be tough but he has a huge heart, and it has always beat for Emilee. Even though there were reasons why he never made his move, she was always on his mind. But holy smokes were they ever hot as blue blazes together!!I low key have the biggest girl crust ever on Emilee. Her character is amazing. She has fight in her and grit but I love how Titan can bring her to her knees. Willingly that is. The lengths she will go to to care for those she loves is inspiring and just in awe! My heart is also devastated for her. I mean how much can this one girl have to continue to go through. I wanted everything good life had to offer for her, and I wanted Titan to give it to her.This book is full of jaw-dropping, heart pounding heat filled intense moments. You will go from the pit of despair to cloud nine. It is LIFE!! It was all I wanted and more. I can’t wait for more books in this series. Loved this series and all the characters you have to read and see who you fall in love with mine i think is Titan with Bones a close second.

OMG this had the potential to be poly and wasn't while Bones was my favorite book of the series I definitely love the dynamic between Emilee, Titan and Bones. I think they could've made it work out. However, seeing Titan become the man he is and worship the ground his woman walks on was beautiful.
