This is a beautiful notebook. I purchased some hummingbird stickers and added them to the pages to surround important quotes. Lovely book.

Love this for Journaling

This is a very nice journal especially if you love hummingbirds and purple/lilac colors. Ordered this for an upcoming birthday and I know the person will love this as a gift.

I purchased this product for a Christmas gift for one of my family members that loves the color purple and hunmingbirds. If someone in your family loves these 2 things too, then this notebook is so worth buying!!!! Highly recommend.

It's a very pretty journal, with a thick cover and sturdy pages, as well and appears well-made. The pages are lined, sort of yellow in color. The purple flowers are very pretty and there is a bit of texture to the cover. The only thing I didn't care for and I want to mention this so people will realize it, is that the hummingbird is in black and white; it has no color what-so-ever for some odd reason and it seems a bit out of place on the cover with the different shades of purple flowers. It was an odd design choice, in my opinion. Otherwise, it's a very pretty journal and I am happy with my purchase.

This brand just makes beautiful journals. Simply put. I like this size as it’s about middle size in their range of journals. Paper is nice, elastic band is nice. I wish it had at least one ribbon bookmark as I use the elastic to keep it closed. But that can be used as a bookmark if need be. There isn’t anything to secure your pen either, but I suppose cutting these pieces out may contribute to their low cost.It’s a very lovely journal and I see myself getting more down the road.

I love it but, I wanted a bigger size.

My son hangs around with the kids across the road sometimes. They wanted to get their mum something nice for her birthday as she brings up 5 children on her own. So we started looking and they found this pen a matching notebook and bookmark. They had the parcel delivered to themselves and hid them from their mum. On her birthday they made her breakfast in bed and surprised her with these beautiful presents. She was over the moon with them. The notebook is excellent quality. So the kids were happy and they have a very happy mum with these lovely gifts

I absolutely love these journals. As somebody who has been writing personal journal entries since a young child, I have written through countless notebooks, journals and diaries so I'm regularly in need of replacements in order to keep my hand writing. I first came across these Peter Pauper designs in late July of 2014, when I ordered the Dusky Meadow Journal. This Hummingbird Journal is just as beautiful as the Dusky Meadow one, I really can't credit the artwork enough. The 160 lined pages have a slight yellow tint to them which makes it relaxing for the eye to settle on as you write or read through what you wrote. The purple elastic binder keeps the journal in place and gives that sense of security that it's often felt a journal or diary should have. It's the perfect gift for yourself or another.The "Our Company" statement within the first introductory pages of the journal states that the company continues to honour the founder's legacy and its customer's expectations of beauty, quality and value. I think that it certainly achieves this. Among all other diaries/journals I've ever had, ranging from those old-fashioned "lock and key" ones that you typically receive as a gift as a young girl to the simple Pukka Pads, I have to admit that the Peter Pauper journal diaries are my favourite as the beautiful front covers and mellow pages are just so satisfying to the keen artistic eye.Thanks once again! I'll definitely consider purchasing another design from Peter Pauper Press Inc. in the future for this growing collection. :)

Love this journal, perfect for what I was looking for.It is an embossed cover with raised parts to it and looks so elegant. All pages are clear with lines.This is a perfect size, not too big but definitely not too small. The paper is of satisfactory standard although, I did expect a slightly better quality (perhaps slightly thicker pages too).Definitely, recommend as a gift because it is so pretty.Dare I say, slightly overpriced as the quality of paper is average but otherwise as described.

I bought this to begin the process of journaling this year. I have always thought of myself as someone who keeps a journal but never succeeded in doing so. The first thing I needed was a beautiful book that would draw me to it and this ticks that box as it is predominantly purple, my favourite colour. The elastic band is great for holding it together and the page quality is great. I really like the background story about the manufacturers who made it too. The rounded corners are a nice touch. To speed things up I really recommend the matching bookmark too then you can get straight to the page you left off.

Really beautiful notebook, it was a bit larger than I imagined (I would say a5) and I love the cover design with some raised art.The quality feels just as I had hoped, with a good hardback and nice quality pages - acid free it says which means they keep better I think.Nice cardboard pocket at the inside back, good for the odd momento.Really lovely to use for a diary, (plain lined sheets), journal, noveling, lists, ideas etc.....The are matching book marks available to buy.I really like it and it looks expensive and feels a treat.
