use this product almost daily on my beard and goatee. My wife loves the smell, a real turn on. I cannot keep her off me, in fact, if I want to watch a ball game, I don't use this otherwise, she cannot stay away from my face. I have lost weight due to the physical excursion caused by this beard balm. So, if you like to watch the ball game, you need to pass on this, but if you like having your wife in your face worshipping you like Odin himself, this is the balm for you.

Smells great, not too greasy but definitely good nourishment for your beard and face skin itself. Bought the oil and Balm (Odins Rok) loved it and then grabbed the Ravn Rom. Odins Rok smells of cherry but not overwhelming, nice and fresh. Ravn Rom smells like an old school barbershop talc or aftershave, again not overwhelming but fresh and very masculine (which yes it is still a good thing to smell like a man). Less important, the packaging is of good quality and very tough looking. I highly recommend Mad Viking for all of you raiders and marauders out there that are bearded and ready to hop in the long boat and plunder all the way to Valhalla.

Odin's Rok is supposed to have a scent of black cherry and tobacco. I really like tobacco scent in just about everything, perfumes, shower gels, etc etc., but this balm has not even a hint of tobacco. Also, the cherry scent is extremely sweet, makes me think of neon pink cherries that bartenders of dive bars use instead of Maraschino cherries. It's like having cotton candy stuck in your beard.This is only in regards to Odin's Rok. I've had Dragonshead before and loved it despite the fact that I normally don't like coconut scent.Aside from the scent, the quality of the balm is great. However, the scent is very distracting in a negative way, so it's a big downside.

I stumbled onto the company a few years ago, I tried a few other balms but wanted to branch out. I purchased your ravn rom (Bay rum esc. Scent) and was/am completely in love with the product. Unfortunately due to my job i had to forgo the beard for a few years, I opened it back up a few weeks ago and the scent was still going strong, even though the product still has another half left, I had to buy another balm. I was ecstatic when I received my Odins Rok balm. Not only is it great to see an American company crushing it, but great to see as you grew you kept the quality at such a high standard. The presentation, switching to tins was a great touch. Love the new logo. Keep it up! If any suggestions at all it would be to have a scratch and sniff card for an idea of what each balm will smell like.

What a cool company! I am also Swedish in my heritage and viking oriented!!! The product came super fast and with awesome stickers and a personal thank you! The product feels great, absorbs nicely...the scent is just too CHERRY for me. I'm not picking up the tobacco at all. I know scent is a very subjective thing, but this smells like a strong cherry urinal cake to me, it is actually giving me a head ache. Too bad. I like everything else. Wish you could smell before you buy!

This company unfortunately goes to great lengths to hide the fact that their product contains Artificial Fragrance. List all product ingredients so customers can make informed decisions. Please update your website ingredients list to include this fact.

Definitely a good product. Delivered quickly. And obviously a cool name for a product. Getting down to the scent.... First impressions of the product are strong upfront Black Cherry for sure, then the tobacco smell just underneath, I actually really wish they could make a strong tobacco scented one, or reverse the scent. More tobacco less cherry. Anyways, this Makes my beard soft and since my beard is blonde it really makes it glisten in the sunlight which I love. Anyways, this product is pretty good. The scent last a couple of hours as well.

This was my first purchase from Mad Viking Beard Co. I will definitely be trying out other scents and products from them in the near future! I purchased the Odins Rok beard balm. The feel and hold are great, and the black cherry/pipe tobacco scent is wonderful! The only downfall for me is that it could stand to have a little more of the tobacco scent, as the cherry is definitely the dominant of the two. Very pleased overall and will be a return customer!
