Dark Grey dishwasher rack coating & glue w/80 caps

I was skeptical that the dark grey colored Goop would be a proper match for my dishwasher. (7-year old ASKO) To my great surprise, it was a perfect match. I followed the instructions carefully. After about a month of use, no signs of delamination or peeling. I applied 4 coats on waiting 5 hours between each coat. I didn't use the plastic caps at all. (saving them for later, just in case)

Only issue I have is that you do not get enough glue for all the caps it comes with. The caps matched perfect to my Asko rack, but the glue is a little lighter color. Be aware, this glue dries VERY fast.

So far so good. Did this gross job-sanding, snipping of rusty wire basket etc, last week. I also had my hubby use CLR to scrub out any rust stains from the inside of the washer itself (couldn't run it through a cycle, as there are a lot of plastic parts in the inner workings). It looks nice. I hope it holds a long time. The color matched and it was easy; just time consuming.

Was able to repair the bottom rack in our dishwasher . fantastic.

Saved me from buying a new dishwasher.

The product amount is very limited and until you begin the application process, do you realize how much you need for the [2] recommended coats. Would recommend basic plastic-dip or similar product sold in larger quantities if i had the job to do over again.

After 2 weeks post application the smell is gone and the racks are looking like new. Time will tell how they hold up.
