If they had cost more I would have sent them back. I spent all day installing these just to turn them on and find out they are so dim you can't hardly see them in pitch dark. I was pissed so I just chunked them in the trash. Don't buy you will be disappointed on the brightness and the app was terrible.

The media could not be loaded.  Where to begin...this lighting system had problems right out of the box. While hooking up three to each side the first problem was the misshaped male plug end that wouldn't receive a corresponding cord. It was flattened somehow and took a pair of pliers and five minutes to get it close to round before it could be used. Once power and ground were hooked up I flipped the on switch and then got the remote out to change the color functions/flash profile and the remote did not work. I pulled the battery to verify it was right side up and a part fell out of the remote. It never did work after multiple attempts to get the battery to make internal contact. Finally, the small box with the electronic guts had a broken lid only held on by the QR code sticker. It was not suitable to use. The lights did work in a flashing rainbow color change and that was all I could try. The daisy chain idea makes some sense but there were so many other glaring deficiencies to overcome that these highlights are overshadowed. This is a solid "cannot recommend". Keep shopping.
