I have now used a Fitcam in 3 of my cars. You can’t beat the fitment of this camera compared to any other on the market. It looks totally factory and without anything hanging down or in your space.The price on this camera also pretty much beats out any other of the same or even similar quality. On this car, a Lexus IS350 i decided to add the rear camera as well as the wired fuse that allows you to use the camera when the car is parked and will automatically come on if your car is even lightly bumped.In my opinion, even if you spend $6-$800, you WILL NOT get a Camera that looks so good, doesn’t leave anything in the way, no unsightly wires tucked away, or little box or anything visible.The App to use this DashCam is also incredibly simple to use, even my Mom can do it! (Joke, but true).I don’t see any reason to spend $1 more on any other camera. For under $200 you can have a front facing camera with great quality video and looking like it belongs.I’ve tried several others and have come back to a FitcamX every time.Even installation can be done by most people who just have the most simple of tools and the smallest bit of knowledge. You canLiterally use a popsicle stick if needed to remove the old piece and everything else can be done by hand in 10 minutes or less.Highly recommended, obviously.

The fit cam system has major design flaws. The connector cord that goes from the dash cam to the car to power the device will eventually over heat and melt on the inside. Once that happens the wiring becomes crossed and will short circuit air bags, dome lights and door sensors. Until the flaw in the power connection is fixed these cameras are junk.

Love it it’s better than any other dash cam looks OEM and it’s super easy to install and perfect

I really wanted to like this product as it has a sleek integration and was relatively easy to install. Instructions weren’t the best but a quick search shows videos online that are clear. All was working for a day until my front collision gets activated and similar to the other review, I get all of these malfunction messages on the dash. Once I removed this, I haven’t had the error since and think it is associated to the connector which taps power from the mirror accessory,

After I received it I went through and watched the video on how to install it, the process was simple, taking everything off was easy it’s the putting back part that was a little hard. After 20 min of figuring out how it goes back on I got it just be careful it doesn’t pop off again when putting the new cap. After install I test it and everything seems to be good. The quality is decent. For the price though, you’d expect a little more crisp image for such a simple device I’m sure an upgraded camera isn’t cutting into profits, maybe even to cool the device down. Again, for the price point it’s at. Apart from this, everything seems good the app definitely needs a new SWE that can point the app into the right direction and have better UI menus. Apart from it all it does its job and is quite nice, I’d like to see an adapter to add a power bank to leave for “parking mode” instead of hard wiring into fuse. Anyways I want to see the longevity of this device if it even lasts a year or longer hopefully it does, I’d really like to support this product as it is intuitive. I’ll update as time goes

The carmaker’s factory dash cam looks like an aftermarket add-on. Not so with this dash cam that has an OEM shroud which makes it look like it came off the assembly line.

Worked fine for a couple weeks in my 2024 IS500. Then one day, every light on my dash lit up. The dashcam caused my car’s front facing camera to have errors & disabled all airbags, cruise control, & lane keep assist. I had to pay Lexus $200 to diagnose. (Didn’t think it was the dashcam since it had been fine for a couple weeks). No response from the seller when I brought it to their attention.
