Bought for present for father-in-law for Xmas as struggles with socks due to diabetes. He was really impressed. Said best socks he has ever had for him since getting diabetes as he is a big man, with big wide legs.

This isn't a diabetic sock. Anyone who knows how sensitive and painful one's feet can get would know the importance of ensuring nothing irritates the area, including the toe seam. Turn the socks inside out and inspect the seam: it's positioned at the end of the toe, rather than slightly further up, is incredibly badly finished, and it's thick, like a furry cable. After only a 6 hour shift at work wearing the first pair of these, my toes and ball of foot were in a very uncomfortable state and it's a good job the next day was a day off. Additional, one toe was poking through a hole which had developed at the edge of the seam.They are a nice fit, even on my very wide feet, and stretch well when putting them on, but they're horrible to wear if you're on your feet a lot, bending, stretching and walking as my job requires because of the seam. I'd pay a little more for a decently considered toe seam but as it stands, for me a waste of money.

If you have naturally big feet and ankles these are excellent quality. Good price and no issue with top of sock digging in . Would recommend no problem.

SOCKS ARRIVED , WIFE WASHED THEM READY FOR USE . FIRST 2 PAIRS FITTED OK ( IM A 12 AND THESE ONLY JUST FIT, SUPPOSED TO FIT UP TO A 14). COULDNT WEAR THE NEXT 2 OUT OF THE DRAWER BECAUSE THEY WERE SMALLER , OBVIOUSLY SMALLER. LAST 2 FIITED THE SAME AS THE FIRST 2. THEY HAVE ONLY BEEN WORN TWICE AND ARE ALREADY FALLING TO BITS. MIGHT BE OK IF YOU DONT DO ANY PHYSICAL WORK

Very warm socks but unfortunately they are still tight round my calf otherwise great purchase.
