To start with, the total professionalism of this supplement is a breath of fresh air and very confidence inspiring. From the certification and testing badges and the upfront information about location of the company and manufacturing prominently displayed on the label to the brand-imprinted capsules, I just felt like I was getting the real deal with these.I've taken most of the bottle now, and I can say that to my surprise I have noticed a positive difference. This supplement boasts of two benefits: digestive health and immune response. I'll go over my experience with both, taking two capsules per day (I've been taking them before bed). I've missed a few days here and there but mostly been consistent with it.Digestive health: At the risk of TMI in a review, I can report that after the first couple of weeks taking these, I noticed improved regularity and consistency (long and firm) of stool. This, for me, is wonderful. Is it due to the supplement? In this case, I do believe so, but I can't say for sure.Immune response: As I write this, I am recovering from a minor cold. Our daughter got sick first, then my sone and I came down with it yesterday. Today it's the wife's turn. So, this is not a magic bullet for preventing sickness, but I never expect miracles from supplements. What I can report, and I don't know if it's down to this product, is that I never got a fever (my daughter and son did), I had a minor sore throat but so far no nasal issues of note (both kids did), and second day I feel pretty much good to go. So, did the supplement help? I think so, but I can't say for sure. It certainly hasn't hurt.While taking this, I've stopped taking my usual Vitamin D supplement I take for a tested deficiency. I also don't take any other zinc. I am currently taking a minimalist multivitamin that has 100% DV of Vitamin D, but I don't think I'm getting too much. It doesn't have zinc in it, and I think 25 mg. of supplemental zinc per day is a good amount.This does have a proprietary blend (meaning they don't tell you what amounts of what are in it) that I usually don't like in supplements, but in this case it is IgG and albumin plus cysteine and probiotics, ingredients I'm not so concerned about getting more or less of, if that makes sense. The total amount for two capsules is less than a gram, in any case. I think this DefenseUp blend is where the real action is too, so if something seems to be working for me, I won't criticize it.As for value, it's a little more than a buck a day, which is a bit steep for me, but I think this is one of the few supplements I have tried that is really worth it.

These are easy to take. My mom got sick recently and I never came down with anything so it could very well be because I've been taking these consistently. Not quite sure but I will continue to take them.

Easy enough to swallow, no taste or aftertaste. Now I don't take much stock in "proprietary blends" and such when it comes to supplements like these. They can put whatever immunolin is or whatever else in there if they want to - so long as it doesn't make you sick - but the thing we're here for is the stuff that we know works: zinc and vitamin D.And these have a lot of it. Maybe too much; at over 300% DV of zinc and 1250% of vitamin D per 2 capsules, I elected to take one at a time instead. Seems to work okay, no ill effects. The good thing here is taking only one per day means the bottle will last longer, adding to the value. Considering how much these things cost ($38 at time of writing) they need all the value they can get. Supplements always seem overpriced to me, considering they usually come as a 1 month supply. Getting 2 months out of 1 bottle improves this substantially; if it weren't for this I'd consider these far too expensive, but at half dose the price is more viable, though a bit lower would be nice. Recommended, more so if available on sale.

I've been taking these supplements for a week and did not notice any difference. The ingredients are promising, so I will continue to take them. They are easy to swallow, and I usually take them with a meal. Update to follow in a few weeks!

This supplement for immune defense seems to be among the highest quality I've ever tried. The supplement arrived well sealed and free of debris, with a bottle that does a solid job of laying out the various ingredients and associated information. The broad spectrum approach that this supplement has with respect to the ingredients is notable, and would seem to take the place of two or three independent supplements combined together.Each individual capsule is labelled, and they are a size that is easy to swallow. No taste or flavor, and I have not had any side effects to speak of. On the contrary, these seem to boost immunity somewhat after reflecting on seasonal differences between my wife and I (she takes a different immunity supplement). Definitely worth a try for extra immunity protection.

This is a really unique combination for immunity and gut health. The ingredients are top notch and hard to find. Capsules are easy to swallow and do not cause any digestive issue. I appreciate that there are no unnecessary fillers added. For me, one per day seems to be useful, and that makes the supplement more affordable and a little lower in the zinc (which I take in other supplements) and Vit D (which I generally prefer to take with Vit K (MK-4 and/or MK-7).
