The 3 units arrived 2 days after the order by very helpful Parcel Force. G-Rack sent me a friendly email to say get in touch if I have any questions/problems, which was reassuring. An experienced handyman friend put them up. He was very impressed with them - ease of build, good finish, nothing missing, everything fits well, sturdiness- and good, clear instructions. He had all 3 units up and placed in just over an hour! I'm very impressed. I now have a great double width, half height, 40cm depth bench which would be fine for doing minor DIY projects, and two full size upright units bolted together. They look and are fit for purpose, they're very sturdy and hold lots of the stuff that gets relegated to the garage. A good tip from my friend is don't put the lowest shelf on the lowest slots - put it up 2 or 3 notches so that it's not so close to the cold, damp vapour coming off the garage floor. In sum, a great garage storage solution, at a good price, with great service.

Fantastic bit of kit and a brilliant price. Really pleased I read so many reviews on so many different units, which led me to this one. There were a few things I was concerned about when reading reviews - 1) missing pieces - no worries here, everything was included 2) bent pieces - everything was in perfect condition (including boxes on arrival) 3) shelves going mouldy - to be determined after a while in use, so cannot comment yet I would say the instructions aren’t worth reading, as I think it makes it harder to build them following these. I built mine one Shelf level at a time: 1) connect four bottom corner posts - Insert bottom shelf (this way you have a little more give on each corner to get the shelf in) 2) connect next shelf level brackets And insert shelf and so on until you reach the top. The teeth fitted really well for my units and I didn’t have any issues lining them up. Just tapped some in with mallet, others I had to use something to protect the metal, so I could hit it a bit harder without bending the edge. Worked perfectly. Can’t recommend these enough and will definitely by more when we come to kitting our our garage.

Pretty good overall, and intuitive to put up but has good instructions just to make sure. Each 900mm shelf unit is packaged separately and it made moving the 3 around quite straightforward. Quick delivery, several SMS to refine when, though not accurate as it turned out. You will need a rubber mallet (does not come with one) though using a standard hammer is a paint chipping option. I found a small screw driver essential also as one or two attachment points were tight, but had no other issues. The screw driver also helped fit the central shelf support bar in securely (have to bend the tip manually; easy enough without superstrength). One or two clips went in the wrong side of the bracket (hard to avoid)but this is more esthetic, as they have the same level and strength of seating. There are 2 joiner pieces with each of the 3 units so you can clip your 3 shelf units together needing only about 10mm spacing. There are no round fixing holes on the shelf brackets though, so if you want to fix to a wall you'll need to be imaginative. They sit very solidly (45cm width) on small rubber feet and wall fixing seems unnecessary. The shelves are 6mm MDF unfinished and have a central support bar to make pretty robust and the weight limit seems reasonable. Cliping them in at the end was easy (even the top one around the top rubber cap, only needed a slight fiddle. I'm happy and if I extend a shed will be looking for the same again

Highly recommended and so cheap! I assumed the racking would be a bit unstable due to the 'no-bolts' system but this is far from the truth. When assembled the racking was very stable & sturdy. It was also fairly easy to assemble as I did it on my own and it took about 45mins from opening the box to full assembly. Some parts of the assembly were a bit fiddly but generally it was quite easy. (Two people would definitely speed up the assembly) Assembly hints: Get a good heavy'ish rubber mallet. Gently tap the parts together at first to ensure both 'teeth' are in the slots before applying the full whack(s)! This also helps when you are attaching the two sides together with the long strut as you can do one side at a time. If you want to put a shelf where the join of the uprights are, then tease the teeth out 1-2mm as the joiner gets in the way. Also you can do this for any other 'stubborn' teeth. Put the 'top' feet on last or you can't put the top shelf on. Ensue that the shelf is moved fully towards you when you fit the rear 'feet' and visa versa for the front feet. If you decide you want to change a shelf height after assembly, simply tap the shelf supports out of their slots and redo at a different height. Easy! I haven't worked out how the rack joiners work though! :-)

When I first opened the box I was really disappointed because it looked to flimsy. When I started to put it together is when I was surprised. Once I got it together it became sturdy and it holds the shelf weight that it advertised. It is worth the price.

Estoy contento con la compra. En mi caso la he montado como dos estanterías bajas para colocarlas una al lado de la otra. El metal es resistente y se ve bien rematado, sin defectos en la forma o la pintura. Quizá las baldas de madera es lo único que criticaría, ya que si fuesen metálicas como el resto, serían un puntazo. No dudo de su resistencia, pero en mi caso coloque el mueble en una zona con bastante humedad y me imagino que les acabará afectando. El montaje es muy sencillo, simplemente fijando las diferentes piezas haciendo encajar unas pestañas en unas ranuras, dándole la forma que cada uno desee. Estas pestañas entran justas, mejor para un buen encaje, y pueden ser duras de encajar. Si queréis un consejo que os ahorre tiempo os recomendaría que golpeéis las piezas a encajar con el mazo sin miramientos (obviamente sin hacer locuras), pero sin miedo a doblarlas o romperlas. Al principio y al ser un producto nuevo uno tiene miedo a “cargarse algo” y como no deis con la fuerza adecuada, ya podéis estar diez años golpeando que las piezas no entrarán. Así que veáis la fuerza que necesitáis y que los componentes no sufren daño por los impactos, el montaje va como la seda.

J'y mets des volumes varés et des poids assez lourds, la tenue est très correcte. Les barres de renforts sont bien positionnées et avec le temps le plateau ne se creuse que très légèrement. Bonne qualité, vite monté. Pour la stabilité, penser à fixer l'étagère au mur selon ce que vous stockez.

I recommend 2 people to assemble as this was difficult for me alone. It's tricky and is really a split sheft which I didn't see coming, meaning the top half is removable easily. This makes it tough to move from one room to another. There are metal tabs you can bend to make it one unit however you will never get it apart as they will snap off trying to straighten them out. Decent value as I don't plan to move it.
