Brace is a great product and well made. Lightweight and easy to put it on. Fits right in shoe.

The Ankle Brace came with 3 types of supports: gel pads that can be heated or cooled, air pads, and foam pads. It is a single ankle brace with uses two pads, one for each side of the leg/ankle. The brace that holds the pads is a hard plastic. The instructions says to put the gel pads in the freeze for 2+ hours. They only stayed cool enough for about 10 minutes. It should have been nice if the gel pads could be changed to allow behind the ankle bone to be cooled; that is, they were not as bendable as I would have liked. These braces did provide support for the ankle. Make sure you adjust the middle bottom part wider or smaller based on your leg and foot width.

This was the perfect amount of support for a complete ankle tear after I was able to put weight on my foot. The interchangeable inserts work really well. The air insert is super comfortable and the ice packs target just the right spot for a typical ankle tear. Also it is slim enough to fit in my shoes and under pants.

After reading reviews for some of the other ankle splints I was concerned over the quality. However, this splint is excellent. The hard outer shell is a strong and durable quality plastic. It brings three padded options for the inner lining and each one feels just as quality.

I posted two pictures of the ankle stabilizer on my right foot with my shoes on in order for you to see that it may look like a decent ankle stabilizer, but in all actuality, it is not providing my ankle with any type of support. All three of the different inserts that it comes with, do not provide my ankle with any support or relief. On top of all of that, it is beyond a nightmare, getting it just right on your foot! And just when you think that you have it on “just right” and you start walking around you notice that it’s off kilter yet again. I ended up returning it after the first day or so. Do not waste your time or money on ordering this ankle stabilizer, as it does not work!

It kinda works I guess, it’s not very comfortable.

I was looking forward to this. The gel felt wonderful when I tried to use it. But instead I couldn’t get it to fit right. No matter how I tried the bottom stirrup that goes around your foot would be loose and the splendid further down.
