O Christmas Tree Treasure Box Advent Calendar (Countdown to Christmas)

I loved this little calendar and my son loves it too! The reason I write this review in August is bevause my son brought it up today how he cant wait to use it again this Christmas. The drawers are small but they fit more than I expected them too. I was able to fit a pokemon mini figure as well as a mini reeses and a lego minifigure in one drawer. Some more ideas are coins and dollar bills. I like that the boxes are numbered and you can place them in any order you please. It makes it fun for the kids to locate the day and "decorate" the tree randomly. I was also Able to place gifts for my step daughter in the days that we know we have her. It is really a cute addition to our Christmas collection.

This is an inexpensive and nicely laid out and decorated item but it is probably only good for one or two years, especially with children, becuase although there are nice features, such as a plastic dust cover, the little drawers are just made of coated paper....I guess was epxpteing wood or at least plastic. However this is nice for a cheap gift for a year or two, maybo for older children....

This has got plenty of space for a family of 4 to put treats in each drawer. They are made of cardboard, so not a good idea with smaller children. The tree casing is actually plastic though. Love it and the price is excellent. No more cheap, nasty chocolates from the regular advent calendars.

This is a cute idea so I ordered it for my ganddaughters. When I viewed it, I thought the green of the tree was a bit garishly bright. The ornaments depicted a bit old fashioned. Because of these elements, I felt the product over priced as it is just cardboard boxes in a plastic frame.

We used to get our kids the cheap countdowns with the chocolate in them. They always complained that the chocolate was gross. We wanted something that we can fill ourselves and reuse. This was perfect! The compartments are small but big enough to fit 3 small pieces of chocolate in them. We also put coins in a few of them. They liked being able to decorate the tree as they counted down. The holder is plastic and the countdown containers are cardboard. We have not used the countdown for all 25 days and had no issues with it. The only thing to be careful of is to not knock it over. It got knocked down twice and both times went "face first" down. Luckily, I didn't fill the entire countdown at once with candy and the 2nd time was the day after Christmas so it was empty. It was probably my own fault for putting it on the counter near the light switch that I had to reach behind to turn on/off!

This product is really flimsy and cheap. The drawers are a heavy stock of paper. Goodness forbid someone accidentally crushes or creases a drawer. The look would be ruined. It definitely was nowhere near worth the $20 that I paid for it. I would definitely keep searching for an advent calendar that is sturdy and would last longer than one season.

What a fun advent calendar! The plastic base is durable and the cardboard is strong too. The pictures on the back of the numbers are cute. Read the dimensions carefully as it is a bit smaller than I expected if you are trying to put toys in this. I chose to break apart a lego set and they fit pretty well but would not hold a lego piece longer than 8, at a slant.

My mom got this advent calendar from me. I did fill it but the boxes were a little hard to pull out. I think they could’ve been a little easier and the pattern was not the cutest. However, last minute was I totally recommend.

Every year my mum has bought my sister and I advent calendar's but never gets one for herself. This year i bought her this Fill Your Own calendar and filled it with her favourite chocolate. I will admit that the cardboard boxes are not the most stable, but they do the job perfectly and she loves the patterns. I would 100% buy again for my other family members.

Now the cardboard material ruins the overall cute design of the tree. If it means to reusable that these boxes should be made with thin cardboard!!
