Moderate roast, so never bitter. Good solid flavor. Low acid, which is clear after 4 cups/mugs. If I drank 3 cups of 'regular' Starbucks or equivalent, I would have severe heartburn. I drink 4 mugs daily with no problem. Given I use milk and sugar, this coffee is excellent in flavor (for me). I simply know that when I travel I have to watch my intake. At home, I enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

If you like a low acid coffee, this is probably the one you can get. Doesn’t upset my stomach and I can enjoy a good flavorful coffee.

All of pur roast coffees are great low-acid coffee. I drink Low acid coffee because acid in regular coffee gives me headaches and joint pain. The particular roast (lost art) is very mild, not a strong coffee aroma or taste. Yet I like that! If you normally drink dark roast, this is not the roast for you. (Pur Roast has a wonderful dark roast, no bitterness or after taste.) I used to drink Trader Joe's low acid, and would still get slight headaches after my second cup. TJ low acid is also much more expensive than Pur Roast. I found this brand by accident when it was on sale at a store liquidator. I assumed it was discontinued. Was so happy to find it on Amazon! I highly recommend it! I mix it with chicory root for extra health benefits. The combo tastes like New Orleans french roast coffee!

I have to watch my caffeine and because of gastro issues acid as well. However, the taste is still very very good. I always take some with me when I leave home.

Used to dark roast, I drink two cups most mornings, and never have any sense of caffeine amping, even from Peet's. The 2nd cup of this had me uncomfortably and extremely amped and jittery for 2-3 hours, AND gave me lots of burping gas, exactly the opposite of what I expected from low acid coffee. Not keen on smell or taste, either, so missed the mark entirely with this try out.
