great book for advanced level
It's got variety of interesting articles with activities as well as listening parts (for which cd is provided). If you find listening part challening you can just read the dialogues from the back of the book; can find well explained grammar with vocabulary

Good textbook for B1 level.
This is a textbook for people starting the B1 level of French (on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language). It's engaging, with lots of different types of exercises to try. The texts in the book include short stories as well as informal and formal texts about current affairs, so it's something that you can get interested in as well as using to improve your French. There are aural exercises on the CD that comes with the book, and a handy grammar section at the back.I found this a good tool for use in a classroom environment. I am not sure how good it would be if you were working on your own, as I needed the teacher to talk me through some of the work, even with the explanations.

The book is fine with lots of vocabulary and grammar to success in the B1 level of the Spanish oficial school of languages. What I don't like is that you have to buy the teacher CD and the guide pedagoquice also! it makes the self study veeeeery expensive!Good if you receive lessons
