Dahle 502 Craft Creative A4 Self-Sharpening Stack Paper Guillotine Trimmer, Blue

SO happy I ordered this. I make a lot of paper crafts and have a range of cutters but none had a precise enough edge to cut heavier card stock without folding the edge and / or tearing. This Dahle is extremely well made, and as you can see from the image, it can shave off the tiniest edge with a crisp sharp unmarred edge on both sides. The markings are properly aligned, allowing me to cut the 30 sheets for this project perfectly. They look like they were sheared with a large industrial cutter, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It's heavy enough to stay where it's placed and the mid sized footprint makes it easy to store in a drawer or on a smaller shelf.

Absolutely the worst paper cutter I have ever used. Laughable how crooked the lines are. Can do so much better with a pair of scissors. So disappointed.

Je suis très satisfait de ce massicot. Pour un usage non professionnel, il répond parfaitement aux critères décrits sur le site Amazon. Il convient très bien pour couper plusieurs feuilles à condition de se limiter à un maximum de 8. De plus, il n'est pas très encombrant. Pour du papier plus épais ou plus de feuilles, il est préférable d'opter pour le modèle supérieur.

I have only used this briefly so far as not ready to use it for my main purpose of cutting photos to put into an album yet as intended. I can tell you some things about the product. It is of a good design and easy to use and seems to cut well and accurately. The size is adequate for most uses. It serves the intended functionality of cutting whatever you wish to cut. The quality is excellent as made of metal. The blade seems of good quality. The product is not that lightweight due to the metal construction but not that heavy either. I will give more details of the accuracy of cutting when I update this review after using it for a long period after my photo cutting project. I thought I would start the review as I have had the product quite a while.
