Tech Armor 3D Curved HD Clear Ballistic Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S9, CASE-Friendly, (Black) [1-Pack]

I used this glass with my S5 and then tried a different brand with my S9. The other brand worked just fine and protected my screen, and but I didn't like the black frame along the edges. So, when it came time to replace it, I decided to go with the brand I already knew and got Tech Armor.I like two things about this cover compared to the other one. 1. No frame. Now, there is a visible line along the edge that can be seen through the glass. I'm not sure if it's adhesive or just the edge of the glass. It is very thin, but it is there. Still, it's better than a black frame obscuring part of my infinity screen. 2. It covers more. With the other protector, I could feel it's edge whenever I swiped from the side of my phone. This cover sits very close to my Spiegen cover and feels seamless.I haven't noticed any loss of sensitivity. I have that turned up. I paid less for this protector than I did for the other one, but I like it better. I bought two so that I would have a replacement if I break the one I'm using.Update 8/2/18 - I downgraded my review because this glass allowed lint to accumulate behind it, so my screen was perpetually dirty. I've switched to a full glue screen hoping that it will work better.

Finished installing this and so far so good. It's very easy to install. Touch sensitivity is just as fluid as if it wasn't there. Case friendly with my spigen tough armor case and looks like it would be with most cases. I suggest installing it with the screen lit up so you don't accidentally cover part of the screen. A plastic frame guide would be helpful to install but not to necessary. The only problem I had was when I peeled the film off of the glass dust clung to the protector and i had to wipe that off before installing. Only got 1 dust particle and it's hardly noticeable.

The edges have thin area of adhesive around the perimeter, and this turned loose shortly after i put the protector on. I installed this exactly like the instructions said, but it just would not hold up. The area that won't stick well is the upper area along the top. The adhesive is just to thin to hold properly. Some others on here have a more solid area at the top, and they adhere much better. The only downside to the other one is that my case needed a bit of trimming to make it fit well. However, Tech Armor's customer service is VERY good. If i could rate that part separately, it would be 5 stars for sure!

DisappointedI’ve been using TechArmor Glass for iPhones to years and they are great, flat and curved. iPhone7 curved glass virtually disappears when installed. This one is only adhered to the edges, so the display has this haze to it and the protector is the most visible thing you see. Additionally, there must be a minuscule gap because I can hear the protected tap the glass underneath. Not sure why they changed up, the iPhone7 stuff was great and they can do full adhesive. My guess they just got cheap because its android. Guess I have to find something else. TechArmor…step up… Bummed.

Tech Armor screen protectors were recommended to me by a relative, I got one for my new Samsung Galaxy S9, I was surprised how easily it went on even without an alignment tool, the installation from start to finish was only a couple of minutes.With the screen sensitivity turned on it worked just like the screen protector wasn't there, also there is no interference with my case, an Otterbox Symmetry and with the case on you can barely tell that there is a screen protector on it.the only things i would recommend is that you turn on the sensitivity option and increase the navigation bar sensitivity and watch for dust, I got one tiny piece under the protector. The installation would have been better if an alignment frame tool was included, but like I said the installation was pretty easy. Now we see how it actually works out in protecting my new phone.

I've owned multiple Samsung Galaxy phones, and will buy Tech Armor Clear Ballistic Glass Screen Protectors for all. Installation is easy, the most important step being the cleaning of the screen. The Protector goes on easily, fits the phone well and stays secure. You should turn up the touch screen sensitivity on the phone when using all screen protectors. I've had to replace the screen protectors twice, each time in juggling the phone and other items I have dropped it face down onto a sidewalk. As advertised, the screen protector seems to give its all to protect the phone screen.

I've had the protector on for maybe 2 weeks and it already has 2 cracks in it. I didn't drop my phone and I'm very careful with where it is stored (usually in my coat pocket alone so nothing scratches it). My Galaxy S7 went 2 years without a screen protector and it had zero scratches or cracks in it. Very disappointed in the quality of this screen protector.I liked how the protector fit on my phone and it didn't seem to cut down the sensitivity either, but something is wrong with the quality if it cracked this soon.

Pros: Sturdy, overall well fitting, relatively easy to install for a screen protector. Touchscreen works great with the increased touch sensitivity setting on the phone turned on. Very clear with good definition in the screen picture.Cons: The curved sections for the side of the screen don't fit exactly so over time those areas have collected dust particles, water can also easily get under those areas. Slightly larger than the screen opening on my phone case but I was able to make it work as the edges of the case are rubberized material. I did have one of these pop off my phone whole after dropping my phone on carpet. Had it happened on a harder surface I'm sure my screen would've been damaged since the adhesive failed.

The instructions that came in the pack were very clear and there is also a video on their website that they recommended to watch to help with the application. I applied the protector with the phone case already on as I was worried that it would cause the protector to peel off if I put on the case after. The cut is perfect so that it doesnt push on the case. No bubbles or marks after applying it. Looks very professional.I found that the screen sensitivity decreased considerably after putting on the protector - this was rectified by increasing touch sensitivity from the settings on the phone but it took a bit of research to find that out. Would be good if the manual mentioned that so that there is less concern.Overall very impressed.

So far so good.I purchased a similar looking protector from terrapin, which was dreadful and fell off after a few days.Was worried that same issues would happen with only edge adhesion but seems great.Clear display, fits great and has great functionality with the adjustment in settings.We shall see how it goes long term?😁

Good product. Set your touch screen sensitivity higher for it to work well. The glare or reflection is something to get used to. I am reordering today because mine fell off this morning and my dog ate it. There was no saving it. **Update: The screen fell off again. I even put a dab of crazy glue on the tips of the corners and no go. It doesn't want to stay on. I wiped my screen and cleaned and did everything to no avail. I am going to buy from a different maker and try again. Really great product but the sticking factor on this one just doesn't cute it.

Bought this for my wife's S9 along with an Otterbox case. The first time our kid dropped the phone it popped off and now we can't put it back on again.This attaches to the screen via a thin layer of some sticky material around the outside edge, much like a sticker. When it came off, dust immediately clung to this sticky part, rending the screen protector entirely useless.I bought this screen protector because I didn't want a wet-application screen protector, and in the past we've used dry-application plastic flexible screen protectors that have lasted the life-span of the device. Maybe the case pushed it off when it fell and it wouldn't have happened if the phone was naked, but this was advertised as being case-friendly so I didn't expect that to be an issue.Don't get this if you plan on using a case. Don't be surprised if it doesn't stay on after a drop, and if it does come off don't expect to ever get it back on again.

They protect my phone for about a week. after putting it on water can get underneath, the sticky adhesive doesnt stick very well. When i drop my phone on the ground it pops off like nothing and can not be re-used. for the price of these, they are not worth the pennies.
