Works well accurately to the .01
Must calibrate first before using first time. Works there after without need of calibration

Didn't work out of the box but they gave me a tefubd
Bought this product for my garden. Followed the instructions for calibration but I kept getting an error message. So I was unable to calibrate. Because I didn't use it right away I went past my return date. Product instruction sheet says it has a one year warranty but there is no contact information anywhere with the item so what is a warranty worth if you can't even contact the company for a repair or replacement. Tried to look the company up on google by name and there is not company that I can find by that name. So buyer beware! They contacted me and let me know they are refunding so no harm no foul

nice test kit
This is a very nice electronic pH test kit and comes with a nice plastic storage case. It not only came with batteries installed, but also came with a spare set of batteries which was a nice surprise. I typically test my pool water using the chemical tester and thought this electronic tester might be easier and faster and more accurate. My pool water tested at 7.5 with the chemical test. I then tested the water with the electronic tester right out of the box (without calibrating it using the included buffer solutions) and it tested at 7.88 which seemed a little high. I then calibrated the tester using the 6.86 buffer solution and my water tested at 7.78. I next calibrated the tester using the 9.18 buffer solution and my water tested at 7.66.The tester says for "best results" to calibrate prior to each test. The calibration process is quick and easy, but I will have to either purchase buffer solution or probably some jars with lids to keep the buffer solution and change it out as needed. Now that the unit is calibrated, I will use it this way for several weeks and just see if the calibration seems to drift or not compared to my chemical testing.
