Ernest Hemingway Collection 6 book set (For Whom The Bell Tolls, A Farewell To Arms, Green Hills Of Africa, The Old & The Sea, In Our Time, The Sun Also Rises)

These novels came as advertised and though I haven't read any of them from this multi-novels in one unabridged volume I received (have read them previously in separate published books). I am pleased to have all these classic Hemingway novels in one volume with a nice book jacket and it will be convenient to have in my library going forward. A nice addition for literary types who read classic works of literature (like me)---including Papa Hemingway's works. Would make a nice gift to a literature fan. Not as high end as a leather bound version, but for a intellectual reader who reads literature by the author, or who is trying to read the classic texts from famous authors--this volume is a very good choice.

Really great, gift-worthy box set for $28, Wow! Important Hemingway titles in a heavy-duty slipcase and sturdy trade-paperback bindings. Built to last. Much better than I was expecting. This would probably be a terrific deal even at $40-$45.

This is a great set. I’m really glad they put this together after making the documentary, which is also great. I see other reviews complaining about the tiny pbs doc logo on the cover. Who cares? The books still look great and it’s what’s on the pages inside the books that matter. I think it’s very convenient to be able to get all of his very best books at once in one set, and for a very reasonable price in my opinion. The only way it could possibly be better is if it came with his complete short stories. I was so glad to pick these up.

I thought being it was something important that he had written but so far after reading a couple of the books, I don't understand all the wave reviews and awards for his writings. Maybe it's just what I'm used to reading really captures my attention but so far it hasn't. I'll see after I'm finished with A Farewell To Arms book and see what I get out of that.

I have found multiple spelling mistakes in ‘the old man and the sea’. It’s a very poor version of the book and a complete shame. Avoid this product

Ah... Hemingway... a real man, writing about real men, doing real man stuff. Something this current generation could use more of. All excellent books. I highly recommend this set.
