Beyond Expectation
For the price, this is a very good ping pong set. The net is easy to set up and put away. The paddles have nice thickness and play well. The balls are included. So far everything seems to be good quality. The storage bag is definitely a bonus. I am not an expert, but as a person who has played ping pong for fun for years, I recommend this set.

Decent quality; great fun
I'm not a pro table tennis player, but I do have a lot of years of experience. We have full size table which has lacked a decent net for quite some time and we have lost track of the old paddles. (And by "old" I mean they have seen at least 50 years.) As we age, we are on a mission to keep fit without having to join a gym or club. Table tennis is a great sport for getting in some aerobic exercise right here at home. I was pleased to find this complete set so that we can get back into the "swing" of it. The net works perfectly with our table, having secure clamps that adjust to a variety of thicknesses. Since I am used to the very old fashioned nubby racket surfaces, the somewhat sticky surface of the new paddles takes some getting used to. The paddles have a good heft and balance to them. My only complaint is that the Double Fish medallion on the handles is a little too indented on a couple of the paddles, leaving a bit of a rough edge. That might cause some hand abrasion if playing long games. I'm not an expert on ball quality but these seem pretty darn good; they have plenty of bounce and are very responsive.Comparing this complete set (minus the table, of course) to other products, I think it's a great value and of a quality that will last and give many hundreds of hours of fun playing time.

Great to play ping pong with any table
This is great for setting up a impromptu ping pong table. There is enough paddles and balls so that your friends and family can just join and have fun. Setup is straightforward and easy. Tearing down the net is easy as well so you don't have to use a lot of space when you are done. It's not the same as a real ping pong table but it does the job for if you play for fun.

Super fun!!
We set up this table tennis set with ease on our coffee table and played for at least an hour! Love how quickly and easily it was to set up and put away. The packaging is so organized and includes a zipper for easy storage. The net clamps are made out of a sturdy plastic so it’s not flimsy when holding up the net. The clamps has a blue button where you can push down with your thumb to reveal the clamp portion to clasp onto the sides of the table. It also has a soft clasp so you don’t accidentally hurt your finger. The paddles are good quality and so are the balls. Overall, I love this set! It’s exactly what I’ve always wanted as I don’t have enough space for an indoor table tennis table. Definitely worth getting if you want to play at home or on the go.

A fun set
I'm the first to admit I'm no expert when it comes to table tennis hardware.I'm sure in the pro world, these paddles are probably mediocre at best but having said that, as a fun home thing that allows you to set up your own spontaneous table without having to spend a few hundred dollars on a new piece of furniture, it's a pretty cool setup. The paddles feel good and heavy to me and a lot nicer than the once I've experience in public play ares like hotels and the like and the retractable net design is really smart making setup and take-down super-easy.For fun casual play, I don't think you can go wrong here.A few years ago, we got another "set" for Christmas from a family member that proved to be junk, the net was held but suction cups that would only work on certain kinds of surfaces and even then wouldn't really stay put well. The paddles were way more flimsy, too. That felt like something picked up in the Christmas isle of a Walmart or maybe even a Walgreens where this feels like an actual set meant to be played. With that in mind, the carry case isn't amazing. It's made of a wolven material on the sides and back but is clear plastic in the front which doesn't feel like it'll last and the insert in it that holds everything in place is cheap - the quality you expect from disposable packaging. THAT part definitely won't last but the actual stuff you use feels solid and we're really happy with it as something more real world than video games and more exciting than board games for a rainy day.

Love this Ping Pong set!
I grew up in a neighborhood that had its own swimming pool, and the building for the pool had a ping pong table set-up inside for those wanting a break from swimming. I loved that thing, and I think I may have loved it more than swimming. However, years passed, things changed, and I no longer had access to a ping pong outlet… until this set arrived at my door. This ping pong set comes with a retractable net that can be clamped onto varying widths of tables, 4 paddles, and 6 balls. Since I lacked a proper ping pong table, I ended up using my dining table as it was the largest table in the home. The edge of our dining table has some kind of fancy beveling and did not take the net’s clamps well, so my husband grabbed a spare board from the garage and clamped the net onto it instead. Our dining table is the kind that has two leaves that can be inserted/removed to change its length, so we put both leaves in and jammed the board with the net in-between. This worked very well to hold the net sturdy and at an appropriate height while playing.Next came the fun. My 7yo and 10yo kids had never played ping pong before, so they had no idea what they were doing at first. The first few minutes were hysterical as they tried to figure out how to hold the paddle, how hard to hit the ball, how to aim, and so on. We had a blast, however, and I think the net may stay on the table indefinitely for now so we can easily jump into additional games together.I strongly recommend this fun ping pong set for anyone who enjoys the game and is willing to improvise with their current table options to make playing ping pong an option. I expect this also would work fine for proper ping pong tables, but I simply don’t know enough about that aspect to comment further on it.
