So, as others have said, these will take a 4K image but won't output any higher than 1080p. That made literally no difference to me for my use case though. If you're looking at capturing a game console and getting it into OBS without paying Elgato prices, look no further. Has built in HDMI splitter which I wasn't 100% sure would work, but it does well enough. The audio isn't the highest quality ever but it's not bad either. Entirely powered off a USB 3.0 port. That cable is a bit short so you may want to get an extension as well. Been using it to stream Red Dead Redemption from my Xbox 360 and has worked very well so far!

Other than the headline, I don't know much about these. My son told me he wanted one and he is pleased with it.

I use this for streaming game content for twitch, YouTube, TikTok, with obs. Works fine with mac and pc. Price point is good as well.

So I was in the middle of streaming on twitch from my ps5-computer OBS and while playing I heard a glitch sound and my game and computer shut off. Ps5 works fine, computer fine, but now I cannot get a video feed from the capture card to my laptop. 🤔 I only got the chance to stream, using the capture card, twice. 😫

This is my first video capture card. The main reason why I got this capture card was because I needed a way to record my NVR screen. Up til now, I have been using my cell phone camera to record events on my NVR display monitor. - Very inconvenient. After reading up on video capture cards, all data I read said they had the capability to do this (was never aware of this).So, I hooked up this capture card to my NVR, and also used the loop out connection to still see video on my NVR display monitor. I then used OBS software under Windows and configured the video capture card. OBS properly displayed the NVR video streams. There was no lag between the video onthe NVR versus the video stream in the OBS view. Worked perfect for me. Now, I can view and record the NVR video stream right from my Windows/OBS software. This is exactly what I needed, including audio and voice annotations.With OBS/Windows, you dont need any extra software/drivers. It's all built into the Windows OS.I don't do any fancy video or live streams, thus I cannot say how well it works for those areas. But for all I need to do, it has worked perfect for me. I wish I knew about this before.BTW: The capture card will inpu ta 4K resolution, but its output is only 1080P@60Hz. I guess you need a more expensive video capture card to get 4K end-end. Also, there is no USB Type-C connectors.Overall, I am happy with the product. Does what I need it to do.

I’m a bit confused on how to use it. When I plug in my headphones into it, it makes my headphones audio terrible.

I wasn't familiar with capture cards when I ordered this and it didn't work like I thought it would. This is not a fault on the product, just my own conception of how the device would function.So I got it set up with my computer and laptop , and using a third party program. The card works well capturing gameplay , it has a high resolution and good frame rate although there's a bit of a delay. Lastly it doesn't capture sound very well , but at the price point I feel like this is a good introduction for people who are looking into streaming and making reviews.
