Q: Is Maxell an American company?

Maxell is a 60-year old Japanese company. I've bought their cassette tapes and DVDs over the years and was always happy with their quality, and (so far) have had no problems with the batteries I bought.

Q: Listing says that at a cost of $7.40 for a 3-pack (15 batteries), the per-count is $2.47. I believe this is incorrect. Should be $0.49/count?

0.4933 per individual battery count is the correct answer and so you win the door prize. 2.47 is also correct too. .49 cents per battery -or- 2.47 per five battery pack. So either answer wins as the door prize as well.

Q: Are these batteries compatible with tree hut watches?

The only way to know for sure if these batteries work in the Tree Hut watches is to check the model number of the battery already in the watch.

Q: If needed are returns free?

That depends on whether it's Amazon the seller or a private seller.
