I bought for the tortoise during winter. The last thing I thought I'd ever do was buy dandelion seeds to grow. They're usually unsightly weeds, but it became like gold when I was given a tortoise. Thanks to the tortoise, our garden is almost always weed free as dandelion foraging for Shelly became a thing. During winter we'd exhausted all our supply and Shelly didn't like the alternate leafy veg alternatives. Only dandelion leaves. Morrisons somehow had them for sale but to think £2 for a bunch of leaves. These did grow but they took so long the normal dandelions outside grew back. But now I guess I can sprinkle these outside now and have more for Shelly.

Poor success rate but there's hardly been any sun! Ya takes ur chance. Worth a go and will try again. So important for eco system.
