Good book. Good study guide. Easy reading.
I try to get my Cisco books from/written by Lammle. Easy readings, very detailed oriented.

Good but not enough
It needs to be more precise and less complicated for beginners

Well-written and covers the topics at the level needed to pass
I originally started the cisco press book for this test, however after reviewing the exam objectives and the positioning of this exam (entry level), I determined that the Cisco Press book was a bit of overkill and I picked up this book. NOTE: If you are making networking a career, then you will need to learn the material to the level of detail within the Cisco Press book, but if you are focused on passing the exam, this is the book you want. Passed the exam at 950+ with this book.If you are wondering whether it is worth it to take this test, the exam is a nice mix of practical, hands-on knowledge with a good understanding of networking concepts. It is suitable for someone getting started in networking to demonstrate understanding and could be used for a junior network technician position (making cables, physically installing hardware, working under the supervision of a network admin, etc.) or for someone starting on a Tier 2 service desk
