Turns out my previous review was inaccurate. I thought your phone needed to be connected while you were driving for the camera to record. You don't. It starts recording once the car starts. It saves the video on the SD card and you can access those files from your phone if needed. Recordings are crystal clear. Plus the way it's installed you can't even tell you have a camera. Glad I didn't send it back. Hardware installation took about 10 minutes. All connections are done right at the rear view mirror. You need to install the app on your phone to connect the camera and that is where things went south for me. For the app to connect to the camera you need to make sure Bluetooth is off on your phone. I have aa wireless in my 2019 mustang so need Bluetooth active to play spotify in my car. I could connect my phone using a wired connection which isn't a big deal. I would also have to make sure bluetooth is always off on my phone or remember to turn it off before i got i to my car. Not convenient, but could still be done. The reason I sent it back is because the camera needs to.connect to the app to record. No app means no recording so if you have anyone else drive your and you want the camera active and recording they'll need to install the app and have their Bluetooth off.

My car is a 2020 Ford Mustang GT base model and this dashcam kit fits perfectly. Video quality is as advertised being at 4K30fps and you’re able to adjust down to 2k or 1080p, both at 30fps. It took me about 30-45 minutes to install, but you could probably do it faster than I can. Recording is set 1 minute loop default and you can set it to 3 minute or 5 minute loops. It does save the footage in the internal storage and it does come with a 128gb micro SD card. I have yet to test it for night driving so I’ll be sure to update the review once I have that tested. If you decide to get the rear cam included, be sure to install the cable running through the right side of the car. I will admit that it is on the pricier side but it is totally worth it.

I used the ODB II connection. After shopping for a month on what brand and type to buy for my Mustang GT, this was the best pick. Easy to install if you have the time and know what you’re doing. Take your time. Use the right tools. Great AHD quality video !! Going on 6 months now, and I could not be happier. Fits great. Looks just like a Ford OEM would have been. Liked it so much I purchased another for my Explorer.

I have a 2016 Mustang and it fits perfectly. Very very easy install, and easier app download and usage. I love the OEM look and how stupidly easy it was all to get set up. 100% would recommend

Just installed it. Working great so far. No issues, easy installation, getting the rain sensing wire off the factory clip was the only hard part, looks very sleek you cant even tell the camera is there unless you really look for it.
